This project was originally Started and developed by @TKruzze One of the best and great developers of XDA but due to some reasons TKruzze couldn't continue and announced his retirement and left a door open for anyone willingly can update this project so i decided to carry this project Untill unless TKruzze comes back. So lets hope he comes back soon.

Android 5.1 GApps packages are now available.
Be certain to select the proper version for your ROM

WHAT WE OFFER

• We consider these apps as important as our ROM. It is sad that the ROM scene deals with so many broken/outdated or buggy packages
• All packages should work fine on any 32-bit custom Android 5.0.x ROM
• Frequently updated Google Apps: Updates are posted weekly - generally on weekends
• All apps are untouched, we do not change or modify Googles' applications but deliver them as-is
• Automatic Backup: It is not necessary to re-flash GApps or modules when you flash a ROM update. Most ROM's support this function.
• All installers measure your device's system partition size and will notify you, BEFORE making any changes, if it finds any problems
• We offer several variations from a Google Stock Package (based on what Google ships on Nexus devices) to smaller, more minimal packages
• All packages can be customized to your individual preferences using our exclusive Advanced Features and Options

COMMON QUESTIONS & ANSWERS (FAQ)
1. I'm getting a 'Status Error 6' when I try and install these GApps with CWM. What can I do to fix it?
It likely means you're using CWM v6.0.4.7 Recovery, which is NOT compatible with any of our GApps packages. If you update your recovery to a newer version of CWM (older versions should also work fine), you will be able to successfully install any of our GApps packages.

The problem is due to CWM v6.0.4.7 overwriting the installation script, thereby making it impossible for the installer to do its work. Thankfully, CWM realized the error in doing this and fixed the issue in newer versions. This 'bug' is only found in CWM v6.0.4.7, so even an older version should work, although upgrading your Recovery would be preferable to downgrading.

Also, since CWM is no longer being updated by its original developer (ClockWordMod), it is highly recommended to change to an actively supported Recovery, such as TWRP (TeamWin Recovery Project)
2. My GApps install failed with Error Code: XX. What does this code mean?
Error codes have been added to the installer since many users, apparently, don't know how to scroll back through the recovery window and read the actual error message that the installer provided. While there is also a detailed explanation of the error (along with a solution) provided in the log file (pa_gapps_log.txt or pa_<Addon-Name>_addon_log.txt), Error Codes have been added as a final attempt to communicate the error with the user.

Using the information below, you will find a current list of the Error Codes that that install may encounter - along with a recommended solution:
• #20 - Incorrect (incompatible) ROM Version: ROM is not compatible with the GApps package or Addon
Solution: Read your pa_gapps_log.txt (or pa_<Addon-Name>_addon_log.txt) for details on the incompatibility

• #40 - NON-PA GApps Currently Installed: Your device has an incompatible GApps package currently installed
Solution: Read FAQ #6 for an explanation and step by step instructions to fix

• #64 - 64-bit (incompatible) Device: Your device has been detected as a 64-bit device. These GApps are only compatible with 32-bit devices
Solution: Find yourself a 64-bit compatible GApps package

• #70 - Insufficient Space Available in System Partition: Your device does not have sufficient space available in the system partition to install this GApps package or Addon
Solution: Read FAQ #5 for a detailed explanation and alternative options

• #30 - First-time Clean install requirement not met (Addon Error ONLY): This Addon can only be installed FOR THE FIRST TIME as part of a 'Clean install' GApps installation
Solution: Read FAQ #3 for a detailed explanation and instructions to fix

• #44 - NO GApps Installed (Addon Error ONLY): This Addon requires that you have a GApps package installed BEFORE the addon can be installed
Solution: Install a PA GApps package BEFORE installing this Addon

• #50 - Incompatible Device (Addon Error ONLY): Your device has been detected as incompatible with this Addon
Solution: Install the app from the Play Store as it is incompatible with your device if installed in system partition
3. I read that 'Google Camera and Keyboard can only be installed during a Clean Install or as an update to an existing GApps Installation.' What does this mean?
Experience has shown us that users who install these applications FOR THE FIRST TIME during a 'Clean install' GApps installation almost never have issues or problems with these apps. However, there have been several reports of users experiencing FC's or other strange behavior when they have tried to install these apps later (with GApps), after their device has been set up.

To ensure the best possible user experience, our GApps and Addon installers will only allow these applications to be installed FOR THE FIRST TIME as part of a 'Clean' install (data wiped) installation. Updates to an existing System (GApps) installation will also install fine, plus you can still freely update these apps from the Play Store and have the GApps installer update them later with the next GApps update.

A 'Clean' install consists of the following:
1. Factory Reset (or manually wipe (format) Data partition - Internal Storage wipe is NOT necessary)
2. Manually wipe (format) your System partition
3. Flash your ROM
4. Flash GApps package
5. Flash any Addon Modules (optional)
6. Wipe the Dalvik & cache
7. Reboot
NOTE: YOU WILL LOSE ALL OF YOUR DATA AND APPLICATION SETTINGS using this method. Be sure to do a nandroid backup prior in case you want to restore later.
4. I'm having a problem with my GApps install. What information do you need to help me?
At a MINIMUM you will need to post your pa_gapps_log.txt (Attach it to your post while logged in to XDA from a web browser - this will not work using Tapatalk). However, the best method to receive support would be to post your debug logs (pa_gapps_debug_logs.tar.gz), using the same method. You will find both of these logs in the same folder as the GApps zip file, after the installer has completed.

As with most support forums, the more work you do up front and the more information you provide, the better the feedback you're likely to receive. We're a friendly, supportive group, but if you're not willing to put any effort on your end, you'll likely receive nothing from the forum, either.
5. My GApps install failed with the message 'Insufficient storage space available in System partition'. My device has 16GB (or more) of storage available. How can this be?
Your ROM and GApps are installed in the system partition. The system partition is a separate, fixed-size, stand-alone partition of storage that varies in size by device. (READ HERE for a complete explanation of the Android File System Structure.) While today's newer devices often come with 1.5GB (or more) of storage in the system partition, most devices that are more than a year old have 1GB or less of system storage available. This, coupled with the fact that Google's applications have doubled in size in the past 18 months, means that your device may not be able to accommodate our larger GApps packages.

The reason you won't get this error message with other GApps packages is because our installers use a System Partition memory detection system to insure a successful installation and the ability to restore GApps after a ROM update. Most other GApps installers do no such checking and leave the responsibility on you to know if your device has sufficient space available. In addition, our installer will generate a detailed log that will show you exactly how the system space on your device is being used. You will find this log (pa_gapps_log.txt) in the same folder as the GApps zip file, after the installer has completed. Please refer to it for complete details.

You can choose to install a smaller GApps package or you may want to take advantage of our exclusive Advanced Features & Options and remove certain apps you do not use or need (Remember, you can always install these apps later from the Play Store).

If you would like further assistance, please post your pa_gapps_log.txt so we can best give you what options you may wish to consider
6. I'd like to switch to PA GApps from another GApps provider. What do I need to do?
PA GApps can only be installed on top of an existing PA GApps installation, OR after wiping your system partition. This is to prevent conflicts that could arise from switching GApps packages. If you use the method outlined below, you won't lose any of your data or application settings

In order to switch to PA GApps from another GApps provider or remove an Addon Module you're no longer using, you will need to (from Recovery - In the order listed):
1. Manually wipe (format) your System partition
2. Flash your ROM
3. Flash GApps package
4. Flash any Addon Modules (optional)
5. Wipe the Dalvik & cache
6. Reboot

NOTE: You won't lose any of your data or application settings using this method. This method MUST be used when switching to PA GApps from another GApps provider.
7. Can I use these GApps to update the Google Apps on my Stock ROM?
The short answer is No. PA GApps have always been designed to be installed with custom Android AOSP based ROM's. If you're using a stock ROM, you should continue to only update your apps through the Google Play Store.

With the recent update to our GApps 2.0 installer, we added a system check to only allow GApps updates to an existing PA GApps installation. This change was made to prevent the possible existence of conflicting Google apps (from other sources) that might interfere with PA GApps after restarting your device. Since stock ROM's already come with GApps installed, this means the installer will not be able to perform an update install on stock ROM's.
8. I'm having problems with Google Camera after installing Google Stock GApps (or GoogleCamera Addon). Please fix it!
While Google does say that Google Camera 'Works on phones and tablets running Android 4.4 and up', they clearly didn't intend to include every KitKat or Lollipop ROM on XDA. They likely meant this to include devices running stock or factory versions of Android with proper drivers and kernels. In addition, Photo Sphere and Panorama require a gyro sensor and Photo Sphere, Panorama, and Lens Blur require at least 1 GB RAM. And HDR+ is only available on the Nexus 5 and 6, according to the Play Store description

While even legacy devices are able to run KitKat or Lollipop with a custom ROM, many of these ROM's do not have properly updated KitKat or Lollipop drivers and/or kernels. Instead, they're using modded, patched, or hacked versions of older drivers and kernels. It's likely these situations that lead to problems and/or incompatibilities with Google's camera app. This means that there's NOTHING the OP can do to fix this problem for you. Your only likely option is to NOT use the Google Camera on your device or try installing it from the Play Store instead.
9. PA GApps packages are so big. Will I have any space left over for my stuff after I install?
PA GApps will use LESS of your device's available storage than using a 'bare bones' GApps and downloading the apps from the Play Store. This is because GApps are installed entirely in the System partition, leaving the Data (User) partition for your non-Google apps. Since the System partition is a fixed size, installing GApps here uses storage that would otherwise be left unused (and unavailable for other use).
10. Why are PA GApps packages so much larger than other GApps packages?
PA GApps are larger than other GApps packages for a couple of reasons:
• The main reason is that all our GApps packages include the PROPER version of Google Play services for YOUR device. Instead of installing a generic, obsolete, or a potentially improper version, our installer detects the hardware dpi of your device and then installs the PROPER version of Google Play services that was intended for your device. This means that our GApps packages must include multiple versions, which significantly increases the size of our packages.
• Our Google Stock GApps include all of the Google Apps that come standard on a Google Nexus device. Since our intention is to enhance the Google Android experience, we don't think it makes sense to limit the apps included in our GApps package.
11. Is it necessary to reinstall GApps and/or addon modules EVERY time I update my ROM?
Probably not. If your ROM supports addon.d backup functionality (most ROM's do - including PA), it's not necessary to install GApps with each ROM update - as long as you don't manually wipe the System partition. The backup script will backup your installed GApps (or Addon modules) and restore them after your ROM has been updated. However, it is a good idea to install an updated GApps from time to time as functionality may be added or improvements made.
12. What if an app is updated in the Play Store? Should I install the update or wait for a GApps update?
Go ahead and install the update. The next time you update GApps, Android automatically will remove the app you installed from the Play Store if the GApps version is the same or newer than the version you installed from the Play Store. Just be certain to wipe Dalvik and cache after flashing the updated GApps.
13. Can I install an updated GApps package without updating my ROM?
Certainly! Simply install the GApps package directly from Recovery and wipe Dalvik and cache after flashing the updated GApps.
14. How come you don't include {MyFavoriteApp} in PA GApps?
For an application to be included in PA GApps, it has to meet the following criteria:
• It must be a Google App (GApps = Google Apps.)
• It must be an application that comes standard on Google Nexus devices.
• It must be a globally used app (not language or country specific)
15. I found a newer version of {MyFavoriteApp} on APKMirror.com. How come you didn't include it in the latest GApps?
Just because an apk is uploaded to APKMirror or has an article written on Android Police, doesn't mean it will automatically be included in PA GApps. Only apps that can be verified that Google has intended for public release will be included. The primary method used to determine the latest version of an app is the Google Play Store date, which HAS ALWAYS listed the date of the most recent public release for the most current version of Android. So, if you find an updated apk on APKMirror and don't see it included in PA GApps, it's likely a leak or preview version. Of course, you're always free to sideload the leaks and previews on your own, should you desire.
16. There are a couple of apps I never use. Can I uninstall them?
Using our exclusive Advanced Features & Options, you can actually bypass the installation or remove any GApps installed application from your device. You could also choose to freeze / disable the app. This will prevent the app from using valuable system resources and leaves the unused app lying dormant in the System partition where it's not using any of your available storage. Plus, the app will remain disabled even after you update GApps.
17. How do I Freeze / Disable an app?
If you have Titanium Backup (highly recommended!) you can simply "Freeze" the app from the Backup/Restore screen. You can accomplish the same thing by going to Settings > Apps > {scroll to ALL} > {select app} > Disable.
18. Can I use Titanium Backup to integrate GApps updates into the ROM?
It is NOT recommended to use Titanium Backup to integrate GApps updates into the ROM. The reason is, using Titanium Backup to integrate GApps updates is going to be hit or miss, at best. That's because Titanium Backup does not integrate the supporting libraries (*.so files). Therefore, if an application update includes updated libraries, the integration will fail or fail to offer complete functionality. The reason it "seems" to work sometimes is that supporting libraries are often not updated when the application is updated. In those cases, the integration will work fine because the older libraries are the correct ones. If an application doesn't have supporting libraries then Titanium Backup integration works fine. However, our recommendation is to NOT use Integration.

ADVANCED FEATURES & OPTIONS

The features outlined below are COMPLETELY OPTIONAL and designed to allow advanced users the ability to modify the default behavior of the GApps installers. Without the use of these options, the installers will function exactly as outlined in Post #1 above.

To modify the default behavior of the GApps installer, create a text file called .gapps-config or gapps-config.txt (.gapps-config will take precedence) and place it in the same folder as the GApps zip or in /sdcard/PA-GApps (zip folder will take precedence). Once you've created the gapps-config file, simply type in the Key Word options you want from the lists below.

• To perform a test installation, that will only simulate an install, add the Key Word Test to your gapps-config. The installer will perform all system space calculations and generate a detailed log pa_gapps_log.txt (in the same folder as your gapps-config), but WILL NOT MAKE ANY CHANGES to your device. This should be helpful for trying to find just the right combination of apps that will work with your particular device.

• By default, the installer will generate Debug Logs - pa_gapps_debug_logs.tar.gz - a compressed file that contains a set of files to help the devs troubleshoot any problems you might experience with the install. This file can be easily attached to any post on XDA, making it easy for you to provide the devs important information to help troubleshoot any issues you're having. You will find pa_gapps_debug_logs.tar.gz in the same folder as your pa_gapps_log.txt. You may disable this feature by adding the Key Word NoDebug to your gapps-config.

• You can use Presets with any GApps package. This allows you to transform any GApps package into one of its 'little brothers' by adding one of the following Key Words to your gapps-config. This will transform ALL INSTALLER BEHAVIOR (including default removals AND applications available for install) - effectively turning it into a new GApps package.
Valid Key Word options are:
FullGApps - To downsize the following package to Full Modular GApps. [Stock]
MiniGApps - To downsize any of the following packages to Mini Modular GApps. [Stock/Full]
MicroGApps - To downsize any of the following packages to Micro Modular GApps. [Stock/Full/Mini]
NanoGApps - To downsize any of the following packages to Nano Modular GApps. [Stock/Full/Mini/Micro]
PicoGApps - To downsize any of the following packages to Pico Modular GApps. [Stock/Full/Mini/Micro/Nano]
NOTE: ALL BEHAVIOR OF THE INSTALLER WILL BE TRANSFORMED TO THE NEW PRESET, including default removals AND applications available for install.

• You can choose either the apps you WANT installed (called an Include Install) or the apps you DON'T WANT installed (default behavior - called an Exclude Install). To select ONLY the apps you WANT installed, add the Key Word Include to your gapps-config file. The installer will now install ONLY THOSE APPS you have listed in your gapps-config. (Since the default behavior is an Exclude install, it is not necessary to add Exclude to your gapps-config). Stock/AOSP removals (see below) function the same whether you're doing an Include or Exclude Install.

Type the application Key Word (name) you want to Exclude/Include inside your gapps-config file.
Valid Key Word options are:
Books - To Exclude/Include Google Play Books [Stock/Full]
CalendarGoogle - To Exclude/Include Google Calendar [Stock/Full/Mini/Micro]
CalSync - To Exclude/Include Google Calendar Sync (installed by default when Google Calendar is NOT being installed) [Stock/Full/Mini/Micro/Nano/Pico]
CameraGoogle - To Exclude/Include Google Camera [Stock]
Chrome - To Exclude/Include Chrome Browser [Stock/Full]
CloudPrint - To Exclude/Include Cloud Print [Stock/Full]
Docs - To Exclude/Include Google Docs [Stock/Full]
Drive - To Exclude/Include Google Drive [Stock/Full]
Ears - To Exclude/Include Sound Search for Google Play [Stock/Full]
Earth - To Exclude/Include Google Earth [Stock/Full]
ExchangeGoogle - To Exclude/Include Google Exchange Services [Stock/Full/Mini/Micro]
FaceUnlock - To Exclude/Include FaceUnlock [Stock/Full/Mini/Micro]
Gmail - To Exclude/Include Gmail [Stock/Full/Mini/Micro]
GoogleNow - To Exclude/Include Google Now Launcher [Stock/Full/Mini/Micro]
GooglePlus - To Exclude/Include Google+ [Stock/Full/Mini]
GoogleTTS - To Exclude/Include Google Text-to-Speech [Stock/Full/Mini/Micro]
Hangouts - To Exclude/Include Hangouts [Stock/Full/Mini]
Keep - To Exclude/Include Google Keep [Stock/Full]
KeyboardGoogle - To Exclude/Include Google Keyboard [Stock]
Maps - To Exclude/Include Maps [Stock/Full/Mini]
Messenger - To Exclude/Include Messenger (not installed on tablet devices) [Stock/Full]
Movies - To Exclude/Include Google Play Movies & TV [Stock/Full]
Music - To Exclude/Include Google Play Music [Stock/Full]
NewsStand - To Exclude/Include Google Play Newsstand [Stock/Full]
NewsWidget - To Exclude/Include Google News & Weather [Stock/Full]
PlayGames - To Exclude/Include Google Play Games [Stock/Full]
Sheets - To Exclude/Include Google Sheets [Stock]
Slides - To Exclude/Include Google Slides [Stock]
Search - To Exclude BOTH Google Search AND Google Now Launcher [Stock/Full/Mini/Micro/Nano]
OR
Search - To Include Google Search [Stock/Full/Mini/Micro/Nano]
Speech - To Exclude/Include off-line Speech files (Required for off-line "Okay Google" support) [Stock/Full/Mini/Micro/Nano]
Street - To Exclude/Include Street View on Google Maps [Stock/Full/Mini]
Sunbeam - To Exclude/Include the Sun Beam Live Wallpaper [Stock/Full]
Talkback - To Exclude/Include TalkBack [Stock/Full]
Wallet - To Exclude/Include Google Wallet [Stock/Full]
YouTube - To Exclude/Include YouTube [Stock/Full/Mini]
• To manage the removal of certain Stock/AOSP applications type the application Key Word (name) inside your gapps-config file.
Valid Key Word options are:
Browser - To remove the Stock/AOSP Browser
CalendarStock - To remove the Stock/AOSP Calendar Application (automatically removed when Google Calendar is installed)
CameraStock - To remove the Stock/AOSP Camera Application (automatically removed when Google Camera is installed)
CMAudioFX - To remove the Stock CM AudioFX Application
CMEleven - To remove the Stock CM Music Application
CMFileManager - To remove the Stock CM File Manager
CMWallpapers - To remove the Stock CM Wallpapers
Email - To remove the Stock/AOSP Email Application
ExchangeStock - To remove the Stock/AOSP Exchange Services (automatically removed when Google Exchange Services is installed)
FMRadio - To remove the Stock FM Radio Application (not found on all devices or ROM's)
Gallery - To remove the Stock/AOSP Gallery
KeyboardStock - To remove the Stock/AOSP Keyboard (automatically removed when Google Keyboard is installed)
Launcher - To remove the Stock/AOSP Launcher(s)
MMS - To remove the Stock/AOSP SMS Application
PicoTTS - To remove the Stock/AOSP PicoTTS
SimToolKit - To remove the Stock/AOSP SimToolKit Application
Studio - To remove the Stock/AOSP Movie Studio Application
SykoPath - To remove SykoPath OverlayManager (found in certain ROM's)

The information below pertains ONLY to Google Stock GApps packages.
To bypass the default removal of the Stock/AOSP apps (listed below) when using Google Stock GApps, type the Key Word option preceded by a '+' as shown below:
+Browser - To bypass the automatic removal of Stock/AOSP Browser [Stock ONLY]
+Email - To bypass the automatic removal of Stock/AOSP Email Application [Stock ONLY]
+Gallery - To bypass the automatic removal of Stock/AOSP Gallery Application [Stock ONLY]
+Launcher - To bypass the automatic removal of Stock/AOSP Launcher(s) [Stock ONLY]
+MMS - To bypass the automatic removal of Stock/AOSP SMS Application [Stock ONLY]
+PicoTTS - To bypass the automatic removal of the Stock/AOSP PicoTTS app [Stock ONLY]

NOTE: The installer will automatically NOT remove the Stock/AOSP application if its Google counterpart is NOT being installed. For example, if you are NOT installing Hangouts or Messenger, then the Stock MMS app will NOT automatically be removed (although you can still force its removal by adding it to your gapps-config). The same is true for Google Camera|Stock Camera, Gmail|Stock Email, Google Exchange Services|Stock Exchange Services, Google Keyboard|Stock Keyboard, Google+(Photos)|Stock Gallery, Google Now Launcher|Stock Launcher, GoogleTTS|PicoTTS, and Google Calendar|Stock Calendar.
• You can add notes or comments to your gapps-config using a #. Anything following a # will be ignored until the end of that line.
For example:
The line below would be completely ignored
# Exclude Search

While the line below would process the first Search Key Word (since it appeared BEFORE the '#')
Search # Exclude Search
• "Protection from Stupidity" is built into the GApps Installer. To prevent you from accidentally leaving yourself with no keyboard, Launcher, or MMS app when you start your device, the installer WILL NOT ALLOW you to remove the Stock/AOSP Keyboard, Launcher, or MMS app if you are not also installing a Google version of these apps. You can, however, override this protection by adding the Key Word Override to your gapps-config. Be very careful when using this option and make certain you have a replacement app already installed on your device before using this option.

Note: Case, order, spaces, or using separate lines does not matter when using gapps-config.

WHAT'S NEW IN PA GAPPS 2.0
Summary of Changes and Features

PA GApps 2.0 is all-new and completely re-writen from the ground up in Shell Script. By using Shell Script instead of the limited edify binary normally found in zip-based installers, we are able to add in all sorts of new features to give you COMPLETE control over your GApps installation.

All of the new advanced installation features are COMPLETELY OPTIONAL. If you've been happy using our GApps 'as-is', in the past, then you'll likely notice nothing new going forward. However, PA GApps 2.0 provides users the ability to personalize their GApps installation. Using a simple text file placed in the same folder as your GApps zip, you can tailor your GApps install to include only the apps you want installed on your device.

Below is a detailed list of all of the changes and new features that are built into the new PA GApps installer. Post #4, above, provides a detailed list of all the configuration options that are available for configuring your GApps installation to your particular device or preference.

1. A simple text file called .gapps-config or gapps-config.txt handles all the customization options.
- Config file may be placed in the same folder as the GApps zip or in /sdcard/PA-GApps (zip folder will take precedence)

2. You can now choose the apps you WANT installed (called an Include Install) or the apps you DON'T WANT installed (default behavior) (called an Exclude Install).

3. New pa_gapps_log.txt is MUCH more readable and informative and contains more diagnostic information to help troubleshoot GApps. A GApps Installation Chart with detailed information is also included to help users with limited system partitions select apps to remove. Plus, there is clear information detailing any issues the installer encountered during installation.
- pa_gapps_log.txt log is automatically copied to the same folder as gapps-config, or if gapps-config is not used, the same folder as the installer zip.

4. Installer now includes all versions of Google Play Services and will install the PROPER version for YOUR device.
- While this increases the size of the installer by about 75MB, it eliminates the need to use a separate Play Services Updater

5. Google Camera and Google Keyboard can only be installed for the FIRST TIME during a 'Clean' install (data wiped)
- Updates to an existing System (GApps) installation will also install fine
- User can still freely update these apps from the Play Store and have the GApps installer update them later with the next GApps update.
- This change is made to prevent FC's and Play Store issues that often occur when these apps are installed in System partition AFTER a ROM has been set up.
- Installer will also bypass the automatic removal of the Stock/AOSP Camera, Email, or Keyboard if the above 'Clean/Update' criteria is not met.

6. Installs of Google Keyboard, Google Camera, Google Exchange Services, and Google Calendar all REQUIRE that the Stock/AOSP version of these apps MUST BE REMOVED to prevent problems when both are installed in system partition. If you wish to retain use of both versions, you will need to install them from the Play Store.

7. Added a new 'Debug' mode. By default, installer will create pa_gapps_debug_logs.tar.gz in the same folder as 'pa_gapps_log.txt'. This compressed file will contain a set of files that will help the devs troubleshoot any problems you might experience with the install. It's also very easy to attach this file to any post here in the support thread. You can disable the creation of Debug Logs using your gapps-config.

8. Added a new 'Preset' option. You can now 'transform' any gapps package to one of its 'little brothers' by adding it's name followed by 'gapps' to your gapps-config.
- ALL BEHAVIOR OF THE INSTALLER WILL NOW BE TRANSFORMED TO THE NEW PRESET, including default removals and applications available for install.

9. Added a new 'Simulated Install' option. By placing the Key Word 'Test' in your gapps-config, the installer will perform a simulated installation and generate the log files, but WILL NOT MAKE ANY CHANGES TO YOUR DEVICE.

10. Google Stock GApps Changes:
- Although the Stock/AOSP Browser, Calendar, Launcher, MMS, and PictoTTS are still replaced by default with their Google counterparts, they will no longer be automatically removed if you choose not to install the Google app counterpart (i.e. if you elect NOT to install Chrome, then the Stock/AOSP Browser will not be automatically removed, although you can still add it to gapps-config to force its removal).
- You also have the ability to bypass the default removal of the Stock/AOSP Browser, Launcher, MMS, or PicoTTS apps (see gapps-config instructions for complete details).

11. Google Calendar Sync will automatically be installed if:
- Google Calendar is NOT being installed
- 'CalSync' is NOT in gapps-config
- OR, when specified, on an 'Include Install

12. You can freely change among PA GApps packages without having to do a system wipe. However, this will mean that ALL Addon modules, with the exception of the Chrome Beta Addon Module, will need to be reinstalled with EVERY GApps install.

13. "Protection from Stupidity" is built into the GApps Installer. To prevent you from accidentally leaving yourself with no keyboard, Launcher, or MMS app when you start your device, the installer WILL NOT ALLOW you to remove the Stock/AOSP Keyboard, Launcher, or MMS app if you are not also installing the Google version of these apps. You do, however, have the ability to override this protection (see gapps-config instructions for complete details).

Hey,

I got a bit confused so I hope you can clear things out for me. There is a new Android System WebView app that on stock ROM you update, but I heard that it is not possible/case with custom ROMs. So is it possible to install Android System WebView as a system app and let ROM use it or not?

Cheers.

AFAIK Android System Webview is not included in any gapps package so you have to wait till any gapps provider includes it or you can try by yourself by clean install rom and install stock PA gapps and than install webview system app from play store it should work

Cheers

I am glad that it worked for you guys :)

Hi @hellowasif
Worked like a charm on Resurrection ROM 5.4.0 (LP5.1).
I am using the Stock package and the config script works perfectly too.
Thanks for your efforts, I've missed PA and the configurability of it.

Works perfect with OptiPop ROM and Euphoria ROM.
I tried Google stock, Full and Mini packages no problem with flashing.
Great work and many thanks for keeping PA Gapps alive

What great surprise, I've badly missed the advanced features.
Keep it, thanks for your working.
