Question Gcam and Core Arrive date

I'm a bit afraid that sideloading gcam 8.1 (gcamator) might affect my standard settings or apps. Can I always return to stock settings without hard resetting the phone?
Is there a risk in side loading this gcamator app?

I dont understand why we can't use the pixel 6 pro camera at 50mp max with 48MP camera? This 12 MP crap is outdated I don't think its better than stock but stock doesn't allow 48mp on custom rom

HI thanks for the feedback! I am using last version of greatness with noise modeler set to imx582 for main cam and I am having good results too, but I'd like to try your settings. could you indicate were you found Burial Beta 31 a'd conf file, I don't find it on celsoazevedo.

Someone please tell me, am I going crazy, or was Gcam on F1 a lot better than on F3?

I feel like HDR on F1 was a lot better, dark areas were a lot less smudged, bright colors were more "True", motion blur was almost non-existent, and overall dark performance was better.

I've tried several Gcams and configs on F3, and feel quite underwhelmed. On F1, all Gcams worked well, and tinkering with the settings was a matter of personal preference.

Is the sensor/Camera optics actually worse on F3?

Unfortunately, I smashed my F1 last week and can't take side-by-side pictures to compare, or can't check what the exact Gcam version and config were.
