[GCAM] [AR STICKERS] Best Google Camera port w/ Portrait & AR Stickers

Can anyone check if this gcam port provides better stabilization than stock camera? If not, please advise how to shoot stabilized video with X4.

It's an APK so it's easy to try yourself but when I did it I noticed a few things:

1) Google Camera look better at 1080 60fps with some jitter. It crashes if you try to select 4K.
2) Moto Camera looks better at 4K with less jitter (and doesn't crash). At 1080 it has a lot of jitter.

I wouldn't base a purchase decision on the quality of the camera on this phone. It's generally acceptable and nothing can improve on that. If you're conflicted about the camera then you're better off buying a used iPhone or Samsung to be honest...

I uninstalled the Google camera because I didn't feel it was significantly better than the stock app.

Since it's a port from a phone that doesn't have a SD Card, it's not possible, what you can do is download an app called GCam Tools, the app have an option to transfer your photos and videos taken with Google Camera to your SD Card.

Wide lenses will possibly work on Android Pie, as long as it supports different streams of cameras.

in addition, it does not work in Lineage OS 15 because the camera is emulated and does not use the official kernel module.

There's a compatible version with A8.1 (tested on A1) and may work in all payton series.

It also enables AR Stickers. Link in the first post
