quick comparison
Only 8.4 and 8.7 in that case.
Ohhhh, then could you please check the settings for 1/8 in 8.1 and try to adjust in 8.4 or post?
Do u have a link for this kind of combination? Like to test it out, dont need slowmo.
Do you think we can achieve the same level of detail from this config if we use Spatial Bayer instead?Xml update for LMC R15
Cant remember changelogs from previous xml (perfect shot final xml)but fixed some issues in Cct and many other changes

I can't see any different video settings in quick menu....please check the settings for 1/8 in 8.1 and try to adjust in 8.4 or post?
Thanks alot. I found something im very happy with meanwhile on the very first testing around, at very shady light...The latest lib from @antykat and LMC15 apk you find here
The config for Sunny or Ofilm lens from @Darkxstaar you find there
Using a lib with xml that was created separately, independently from this lib doesn't make sense. Modifying a lib with libpatcher to get specific, wanted results makes sense. Now, settings of libpatcher and the lib don't correspond to each other. They are random. So, my advice is: use xml that was created for a lib that you want to use, use xml that doesn't require a lib or create xml for a lib that you want to use. Don't connect a xml and a lib that where created independently, because the results will be hardly ever good. The latest lib from @antykat and LMC15 apk you find here

I had the impression that Darkxstaar's xml config was based on that particular configuration.Using a lib with xml that was created separately, independently from this lib doesn't make sense.....
I already tried to fix this issue but eventually it affects other conditions as well, i always try to shoot at windows from indoor and i get greeny edges, there is one config which i currently using as daily driver it almost fixed that problem but im not sure that most people here like that kind of sharpness in there pictures, will share it some time laterMost XMLs and libs are fine when it comes to most lighting conditions but most turn ugly once you try shooting in scenes with difficult lighting like having multiple bright objects in the frame or against the light situations. Is this because of the sensor of our phone?
Look at these samples I've taken. The issue I'm talking about is more apparent during daylight so I'll post more once I've got better samples.
1/8 Slomo works for me(stock Rom) on lmc. didn't tried to fix it in bsg 8.7 , only worked on video section for stabilization,I'm really satisfied with 8.4LMC15+lib. and Ofilm combi.
Colors, brightness and sharpness of pictures are good for me.
But still I have problem with video.
This time video does crash the camera only with 1/8 slowmo, which was a problem in the past with all video modes for me. Every other camera app stay black then. The only solution is a restart of the phone. (FYI: I have this problem with all 8.4 Gcam builds)
I tried 8.7MGC+lib+conf. too, but all video modes do crash the camera.
With 8.1MGC-intro555 Ofilm combi I never have this and can use all video modes.
So must conclude that this Gcam is still the most stable build for my use.
No its not, both are totally different, if you use my xml with Lib then almost all settings will be as same as my xml, the Lib will only affect those values which are as in library in my xml and antykat tweaked those in his Lib ( maybe some exposure and light and shadow also color settings) just tweak those settings to get same results as antykat, @Laptapper already shared a xml with those tweak you can compare the results.I had the impression that Darkxstaar's xml config was based on that particular configuration.
If not, then this wasn't clear for me.
No results will be different and not same results as sabre merge, you need to tweak it from scratch to get same results with spatial bayerDo you think we can achieve the same level of detail from this config if we use Spatial Bayer instead?

Try my XML. I found that the combination of Lut Noise Fix (4.0), enabled camera.shasta_zsl from the Developer settings, and Spatial Bayer gets rid of the green or pink tinting and the noise that you get when shooting in scenes that are against the light or have high dynamic range. But now you have a new problem. Some parts of the scene get duplicated as if gcam used photoshop's healing brush on it.I already tried to fix this issue but eventually it affects other conditions as well, i always try to shoot at windows from indoor and i get greeny edges, there is one config which i currently using as daily driver it almost fixed that problem but im not sure that most people here like that kind of sharpness in there pictures, will share it some time later

Have you guys tested my config? Do you also get the healing brush effect that I was talking about when taking pictures in high contrast scenes? Btw, only the main rear cam is configured. Most of the changes I've made are focused on getting a clear picture on high contrast scenes. And I'm still figuring out how to get rid of that healing brush effect.Try my XML. For me HDR+ is favorite in case of fast shot.
Sgcam 8.7 is looking a bit noisy but best details and I think it could be improved to the best pic.
@nstream I didn't use led flash in case of not needed and flash reduces quality of far objects (also leica with flash produced bad over all details)
Led flash only needed in absolutely no light conditions....but for me it's useless in case of I've had no situation in no light to fotograph...
I didn't say that photos taken with my xml/lib are perfect, did I? And only stupid people could expect perfect photos taken with HM2 or generally with a phone and it doesn't matter what sensor it has. You used my configs for comparison, so I reacted. Additionally I was curious what a good xml you found and recommended. So I tried it and shared my opinion and screenshots. That's all. You can agree with my opinion or not. I don't really care what "3 guys" think about my configs. I do my best and I am happy when somebody find my configs good and use them, but I don't force anybody to do that.Well, hard to argue against personal preference. 3 Guys who i did ask to check that dings.zip did all 3 prefer the B too. If u like, ill drop u on a Secret Chat 2 pics, where u can see the yellow tint issues on your mods very clearly.
Also, on a Budget Phone what did cost at minimum less then 139$ i wont expect Sony A7R V quality out of.
In the end i really don't care, as i said, i just found it and shared it here. Everyone has to know for themselves what they think is better and choose for their daily driver.![]()
