You were there, so I believe you of course. I could only guess. But I don't understand what is the point of taking and comparing night/evening shots without Night Sight that was created for such situations. And what about photos in strong light with the same settings? Settings are always a kind of compromise and can't be perfect in all conditions.
Will you post photo files from text test that I asked for? Thanks.

I would really like to thank antykat for such an amazing xml and lib. I have been putting gcam in this device to get the same experience that I got 3 years ago on my old phone but none have worked just right for my taste. I have been trying almost every config from xda,telegram and 4pda but still getting janky looking photos.

Yours config is the first one where on a trip taking photos I never opened the leica miui app. I noticed instead of using the normal HDR+ in photos with human ,you could get phenomenal photos with auto night sight always on. The thing I am even more surprised is how the auto night sight just WORKS, (no reasonable blurring,photos are bright and vibrant, human faces are a chefs kiss with auto night sight)

Possible that u could add the BigKaka Mod with the fix-v2 config into your comparison?

I havent tested much, but when im honest, every Mod + Config i tested i found in forums was terrible as daily driver. Only overtuned for specific pictures. :/

Edit: Also finest Details are just gone with most Mods, sadly.

Has anyone here used Bigkaka's AGC gcam? I get 2-3 second delay before it takes pictures. Is there a workaround for that?

But I've compared fresh install of AGC without changing the standard setting to lmc @antykat

Did u remove custom libs, etc? had this problem too, as somewhere in another folder was laying a .so

Or, i dont know if that helps, try a different vendor package, maybe that Samsung or ruler3d one.

Also thanks for your comparison, and have to say agc is imho. the winner. Better sharpness, more details better overall color profile... Just the mirroring on your table says everything when it comes to details on non-zoom, just from the preview.

Edit; For bigkaka: had this B/W "problem" too once again. Did wipe data+cache (of Camera App, dont wipe your phones lol), reload config, and also make sure to select the right profile. (Profile 4 is BW (lens?) with out AWB iirc.)

because the lens colour model is set to monochrome. I also tested that setting at the time and it was wrong.

I'm following this channel for more than 6 months. However, I still haven't found a "set" ( apk + configs + libs) for everyday use. Let me explain what I mean with that, great photos in daylight ( most of the sets are excellent in that), good portrait and video ( most of the cases have a problem with slomo) and the most important but also the most difficult excellent ( or as could as they can get ) night photos. So a question to the older members like @Laptapper but even the newer ones. What set do you use for everyday use?

In your experience, do agc gcam's take pictures instantly or is there a few second delay?

It has less delay, yes, depends on which Options and also profile (not config) u choose at bigkaka. With less modes at "auto" its more snappy is my feeling. It has a few flaws, like the background processing takes 1-4~ seconds, but the wait is (unfortunately) rewarded in the end. Would also wish the mod would be a little more reactive for snapshots, where all the details do not magically disappearing like other mods who focus on speed only over close to crystal clear details. This sensor has more to offer.

Edit: Just noticed a BK 9.3 popped up.

Edit2: AGC8.6.263_V2.0 with the fix-v2 config looks like as it has aloooot potential. Its less laggy too, even with <10% battery. Needs deeper testing and a bit more tweaking from the pros around here is my opinion, and it has the potential to beat some flagships.

Configs (xml + lib) for Redmi Note 10 Pro and LMC8.4 R15.

About the configs:

The xml was adopted from Xiaomi 11T Pro. I hope that everything works properly. It wasn't tested on custom/GSI roms.
Very detailed photos without over sharpness from all cameras
Close to real colours from Main camera
Natural looking photos
Sat 1 and Sat 2 modes for more saturated photos from Main camera
Upscaling is set to x2 for all cameras
Turn on AWB in Night Sight mode to get accurate colours

How to use the xml and the lib:

1. Put the lib into folder:
/LMC8.4/libs
2. Put the xml into folder:
/LMC8.4
3. Double tap at the black area between shutter button and gallery to load the xml.
The lib is loaded automatically by the xml, if the lib is in right folder.

Personally im not a huge Fan (yet) of that Version, will uninstall and go back to AGC8.4.300_V9.2, also giving the 9.3 a shoot or two.

Personally i found my Daily Driver now, BigKaka 8.4 - v9.2 and this Config u found, im finally done with testing. Time to move into Custom Roms now, Thanks again. ;D
