Appreciate the reply @beserker15 ! Unfortunately for me I tried that method and failed miserably, so eventually I gave up and reverted to stock, relocking the bootloader.

I got another question regarding this topic, if you guys don't mind. Is there any possibility at all that Samsung might allow Auxiliary lens support in 3rd party apps, in the upcoming OneUI 4.0(?) update? Obviously I mean for Exynos. If only they could do what they did with the Snapdragon variant... All lenses being supported with the exception of the selfie cam - that would be great! Front camera in GCam is not really necessary (in my opinion), however the tele lenses would be quite useful.
i raised this up multiple times in comments and in posts on samsung dev forums, one of them i had seen got accepted and is being reviewed but its kept private now. so im not sure if its even being considered.

there was this remote post about this

but... no expectations. actually why the F samsung enabled them for snapdragon and not for exynos, i have no idea !!! such a .I. move it is!

Hey guys, some good news for Exynos users: it appears that the tele lenses (3x and 10x) are working in Arnova's latest build on the One UI 4.0 Android 12 beta 2. They are fully detected and the viewfinder is visible.
Unfortunately when actually pressing the shutter button, the photos don't seem to save... I'll play around with the settings some more and let you guys know if I find a "fix".

After a few hours of tinkering with the settings and trying different versions, I've come to the conclusion that Wichaya's build is, at the moment, the most usable with the S21U Exynos on One UI 4.0 beta 2.

https://www.celsoazevedo.com/files/android/google-camera/dev-wichaya/f/dl4/ - download either the Samsung Ruler or Scan3D versions (otherwise you won't have access to the Auxiliary lenses).

Attached to this post should be a .xml file which is a configuration file, created by me, SPECIFICALLY for the Wichaya GCam 1.4 version.

I made a few changes here and there, mostly fixing the camera IDs. Now I am pleased to say ALL cameras work. All 4 on the back and the selfie cam works too (needed a little fix).

My .xml is quite "barebones" - I only fixed what needed to be fixed so the app doesn't crash. Although I haven't tried video modes....
Feel free to adjust the ram patcher and other settings to your liking.

Why is Wichaya's GCam more usable than Arnova's?

Well, simply because there is a problem with the 3x telephoto on Arnova's version. The pictures come out very noisy, and no setting I've tried seemed to help. Also using the selfie cam caused the app to crash. So yes, right now I suggest using Wichaya's build.

Good day,
I tested your XML.
ID 3 and ID 2 are extremely overexposed. How did you solve that? (For me it's still the case with your xml)
I face the same issues on arnova on HDR+
I'm also in contact with Arnova and Wichaya and do a lot of tests for them.
That's 3x:

By the way for me Arnova works best for now. If wished I can share my config. But I guess I'll try to fix the .gca files first

Thx
Eric

That all sounds great bro! Can you mention anything regarding the lower question about the overexposed results?

Hi,
Yeah that doesn't look very good.
I haven't found a fix for the overexposure, I mainly tried to fix the crashes, I haven't really focused on photo quality itself, yet.
Have you tried using HDR+ Enhanced when in difficult conditions? Maybe it would make a difference.

I'm on beta 2 no issues with overexposure have occured with any lens, yet.
However, exposure often seems a bit off between the final image and the preview.
Apart from this and occasional crashes, it worls well.

Has anyone tried with beta 3, yet?

I have tried, telephoto works up to 10x and photos now save with wichayaka version!

Photos look much better with gcam. There less noisy and oversharpened. Good on Samsung for giving us telephoto in cam.

The first photo has been taken with Samsung default and second gcam at 10x zoom. Gcam photos are definitely less noisy and oversharpened. Good on Samsung for letting us use 10x

I'm on beta 3 now and it works well.
Today, however, the overexposure issue occured for the first time. Out of a hundred images, three are completely white.

Wow its great to see some progress on the exy gcam I was beginning to think it was a bit of a lost cause with samsung not opening the apis for the tele lenses but clever members have found a work around.

I have tried the wichaya version suggested with the .xml but when I switch to 3x or 10x it just black screens. I am not on the beta- still on android 11 (no root). Is this newfound telephoto goodness restricted to android 12 builds at the moment?

    Hi All,

GCAM for S21 Ultra. For Exynos, try BSG or Zoran. BSG has recently updated.

Anybody using GCAM on S21 Ultra Exynos variant? Kindly post here which version and config file you're using.

What's working & what are the known issues with Exynos variant?

Hi guys, soon-to-be S21 Ultra (exynos) user here. Has anything changed in regards to auxiliary lenses in apps like GCam? Do the telephotos work, or still just the ultra wide? Thanks.
To my knowledge still only UW and UWW, so no telephoto lenses on GCams.... I'd be very happy if someone could correct me, though ;)
Telephoto with GCam can work...but not without effort. First, you need root. Second, you need that root access to replace a system library file with a patched one. Since a patched library file is needed, it means that with every system update, you need a new patched library. Probably not worth it for most, but if you are already rooted, could be worth a try. I don't have the Exynos model, but this file should work for the AUDA build ROMS.

Another new Arcide lib with default merge, ISO, and JPG quality set
    changelog from Arcide:
    - Fix for reducing motion artifacts
    - Reduced sharpness overall (decreased low radius sharpness, increased big sharp)
    - Reduced certain denoise parameters for improved textures
    - Reduced chroma denoise for better colors
    - Tuned lighting: reduced HDR, new tone curve, higher contrast
    - Activated noise model by default
