Anyone tested gcam 7.4 by parrot? it is said it supports many devices of snapdragon 700 and 800 series. Any update about it on this thread will be much appreciated. Thank you ❤

The latest one that has worked well for me was from cstark: PXv4.3_GoogleCamera_7.2.014.apk.
I'm on Android 10 (running crDroid). Parrot's crashed on my phone after a certain update, if I remember correctly, and though sometimes they lagged less, they were of poorer quality.

Note that cstark's works best with most features turned off (to reduce lag). Don't try the gimmicky ones either (like astrophotography), they're generally not too great or crash the app.

If you do decide to test all the different gcams, let me know which ones work best for you. The last time I did a mass download-install-photo test was ~half a year ago so there may definitely be some better ones out there now.

I am currently using gcam 7.2 v3. It is quite good but I've read a lot about the gcam v7.4. It was released on 19th of July i guess. I will give it a try and see if it's better. I'll let you guys know if i think it's better in my opinion. Thanks

If it helps i am using these 2 versions .. i am not sure u might have shared the same ones but the links are down so no way to know ..

Both if these worked out of the box for me on cr droid 9 pie .. no change in settings was needed ... all functions are working.. the pixel 2 mod is faster and produces good hdr images .. the only reason for pixel 3 mod is NIGHT MODE .. yeas night node is working flawlessly as well !! both if these can be installed at the same time since pkg names are different .

- GCam_Pixel3Mod_1.1_build.6.1.013.apk
- GCam-5.1.018-Pixel2Mod-Arnova8G2-V8.3bfix.apk

i hope this helps htc 10 community ..
btw i didnt test it on oreo so u can give it a try
Would you mind uploading both apks please. The links to them on gcamhub don't start the download
