Another question about you newest link to apk and xml files.What I am using now seems to be different file about 132MB (file name wasNGCam_7.4.104-v1.7.apk) your new one is 58MB.Why is that difference and those 2 apk that same mod?

You can't fix the selfie camera alone because there are no libraries or settings separate from the main camera. The only thing that can be adjusted is the exposure compensation ...


Regarding the weight of the apk it depends on how many libraries they contain. The original na has two google and Ngcam. The asus only one ...

Yes, the ones listed first, second lens etc etc are separate settings for each phone camera. After several tests I came to the conclusion that on the main camera the sharpness holds up without creating artifacts up to 3000 while the wide-angle camera is the macro no, the acceptable maximum is 2500. The various cameras are set in the various through the ids. And, again after several tests, I came to the conclusion that the wide angle had a better response to the settings when set on one of the numbered lenses rather than as a secondary lens. To understand how they are set, i.e. which is the wide angle and the macro, just look at the icons. Third lens mountain wide angle, fifth lens flowers macro.

I got it .Thank you.Is there any possibility you will work on selfy camera and include it with separate ajustments like for wide and micro one?I was using Urnix05 v2.2 and like his selfi quality but I don want to switch to his and lose you main camera quality.

The file must be copied to the folder indicated in the video:
/storage/emulated/0/gcam/Configs7

As for the awb there are several options in the settings. I use those for the IMX686 sensor which is the closest to our imx682.

It is only an indication that custom pixel binning is activated. Even if you press it it doesn't change the settings

Guys try Parrot043 gcam mod https://www.celsoazevedo.com/files/android/google-camera/f/changelog1349/ it works as normal with selfie and main camera and without touching any settings at all or loading any config files to confuse people. Let me know how it works for you...

So do you think the photos below have the same photographic yield? The first was done with the parrot v5 without setting anything, the second with Ngcam 1.7 and xml.

Nice compared, yes ngcam have more detail but selfie is bad and I use HDR enhanced + option for better results.

But it is not only the HDR +, even in the photo taken with the parrot of the companion I activated it since I do not consider it a setting but the bare minimum to have reason to be installed a gcam. There is the sharpness, there is the saturation, there is the noise control ... To say that a newly installed gcam is already good this is not correct. Even in the parrot if you want the best results you have to set those few things it has in the libraries.

I tried Parrot043 same version the first when I got Poco X3 .Besides quality difference Wide angle camera and slow motion didn't work.Regarding selfie camera I agree it was good.

But when it comes to people's faces it seems to over sharpen and faces lose a natural look. It is way more apparent on the selfie cam but it is occurring on the main camera too.

Is there anyway you can edit your XML so that faces have the same quality as "stock" ngcam at least ?

I know you can clone apps but I really just want one camera app that can do everything pretty well. It's a hassle to change apps, I just want to point and shoot.

Unfortunately you can't .... You should have a gcam that has separate libraries for, main, front, wide and macro cameras so that you can set each one with its proper sets. Now the ngcam has separate libraries for the main, the wide and the macro. But it has no separate settings for the front. The only solution at this point becomes to use either two xml, one of which is dedicated to selfies or two gcam, one that works well in everything except selfies, like the ngcam, and one in which selfies work ... In truth I a solution that adjusts to the average I would have ... Use the MJL Miniqueta. In that gcam has the ability to set six specific xml for each situation. But honestly it's a bit complicated to set up and if I put it here I would be overwhelmed with questions about how to do it ...

Don't use gcam for video ... Unless you have a gimbal you should use the stock camera ...

I personally tried 2 other mods.MGC 7.4.104 Parrot053_v5 without any xml by Parrot.The main camera and sefrie are working fine but not wide camera and slow motion.The other one GCam 7.3.018 Urnyx05-v2.2-fix with urnux05 7.3.xml.This version is good one too and wide angle camera is working too but not Photo Shpere.Picture quality were good.Maybe not so sharp like Nikita's but downside of NGcam is selfie camera and general faces are coming out looking more actificialy with too much details even from main camera.Please,suggest what to adjust to have less details generally in order to have better quality for faces.If it is only sharpness adjustment for main camera and wide one than what is better number to set without me playing with it for hours.If there is any other setting to adjust please share.I don't want to give up on NGcam but who wrote that faces are too sharp even from main camera is right
