GCam for Poco X3

Unfortunately you can't .... You should have a gcam that has separate libraries for, main, front, wide and macro cameras so that you can set each one with its proper sets. Now the ngcam has separate libraries for the main, the wide and the macro. But it has no separate settings for the front. The only solution at this point becomes to use either two xml, one of which is dedicated to selfies or two gcam, one that works well in everything except selfies, like the ngcam, and one in which selfies work ... In truth I a solution that adjusts to the average I would have ... Use the MJL Miniqueta. In that gcam has the ability to set six specific xml for each situation. But honestly it's a bit complicated to set up and if I put it here I would be overwhelmed with questions about how to do it ...

Don't use gcam for video ... Unless you have a gimbal you should use the stock camera ...

What gcam you suggest for front? Or do you have an xml?

I personally tried 2 other mods.MGC 7.4.104 Parrot053_v5 without any xml by Parrot.The main camera and sefrie are working fine but not wide camera and slow motion.The other one GCam 7.3.018 Urnyx05-v2.2-fix with urnux05 7.3.xml.This version is good one too and wide angle camera is working too but not Photo Shpere.Picture quality were good.Maybe not so sharp like Nikita's but downside of NGcam is selfie camera and general faces are coming out looking more actificialy with too much details even from main camera.Please,suggest what to adjust to have less details generally in order to have better quality for faces.If it is only sharpness adjustment for main camera and wide one than what is better number to set without me playing with it for hours.If there is any other setting to adjust please share.I don't want to give up on NGcam but who wrote that faces are too sharp even from main camera is right

The two gcam, Ngcam and miniqueta have a different installation package name so they coexist peacefully ...

Do you use adblocks? For example, I have to disable adguard to download xml.

The warning specifies that the developer tests the gcam on oneplus 6 / 6t and therefore only for those devices he gives assistance on any bugs.

You have to put the XML in the miniqueta folder which is inside the configs7 folder which is inside the gcam folder ..

first gcam in which 16:9 is actually 12MP and not 8MP!!! (it uses the same resolution than native camera for 16:9)

xml swapping support is also nice, the configuration for "macro" is the one for WIDE angle (for those who want wide angle) in POCO X3. Idk how to get access to the macro camera (in other GCAMs the wide angle mode usually gives access to MACRO, swapped ids xP), but not likely using it :silly:

16:9 setting doesn't keep across XMLs tho, so I just copied the default ones (made by surfer) in 16:9 mode, I lose autoupdate but well :/

The file must be copied to the folder indicated in the video:
/storage/emulated/0/gcam/Configs7

As for the awb there are several options in the settings. I use those for the IMX686 sensor which is the closest to our imx682.

Is the Gcam from your link any different from the one I can get directly from Nikita at https://www.celsoazevedo.com/files/android/google-camera/f/changelog1429/ and use your xml on it ? If it isn't, what are the differences, and will the xml work on both ?

The gcam is identical in operation, it only has a different library, the XML works in both gcam the crlsoazevddo one and the one with different libs. The only thing you have to check when using Celso with my xml is which library is set because if I remember correctly there are two or three in Celso, google and ngcam ...

I just checked. The Celso one uses google library. Is there a big difference in your "AS4U" library and Google and NGcam and how it works with the xml you provided ? Would be nice if we could add libraries, just like an xml. But I guess I'll give your library a try. Btw, is "AS4U" your thing, or something you just found and are sharing ?

I tried but 16:9 is still "low" resolution, can you control the resolution from the library, or tell me how to adjust ? I tried tweaking the xml with no luck.

I'm using the one you linked (miniquita) because 16:9 photos use 4624x2604 resolution (aka 12MP) while all other gcams use lower resolution for 16:9 (8MP, aka 4k) <-- 12MP is what the native camera app uses

Why would you ever shoot in 16:9 and not in navite to sensor 4:3 ratio?.If you need 16:9 later just crop it and you will have better resolution.

the same reason there's an option for it :silly:, because cropping is extra work (and quite time-consuming from my experience). I can use auto-zoom galleries like piktures, but then If i send the photos to someone else, they don't see it "cropped"

and 99% of the times I look at the photos in phones (or TVs), which are 16:9 (or 21:9, but basically 4:3 will just waste 50% of the screen)

16:9 is the norm for me, 4:3 would likely be the exception.

of course I can live with 8MP (actually 12 in Miniqueta), but if the best one is possible (aka 12mp+ custom libs) ... y not

i have installed it into the miniqueta folder from the zip but they still wont show up, they dont have the icons that the miniqueta xml's have

what if i delete the miniqueta folder and create a new folder ??? is there a settings file that i need?
