What config file do you recommend for our device (in the list, I don't see the poco x3 pro)?

OVERSHARP - Google Drive
I'm on ArrowOS 12 but it was same with other ROM: if I take pictures, no matter what camera is installed and used I only get pictures with a resolution of 12MP. Doesn't have X3 Pro much higher photo resolution ? Do I have an issue with the camera hardware ?

Ok found the solution: camera in Poco X3 Pro is a 48MP hardware. Software is doing 4:1 pixel binning which results in 12MP pictures. So far everything is ok.

The X3 Pro built-in main sensor f/1.79 IMX582 Exmor RS IMHO is not good enough for more then 12MP binned doing a satisfying job in good light conditions. In low light even the binning trick has limits and results are clearly below the top class of sensors. So 48MP might sound interesting but I have no motivation to get inflated file size combined with poor washed pixel quality. For this device EIS Video and good light pics give some satisfaction, in some case HDR might allow decent results, for more I would use other devices with clearly better sensor (including DSLR).
Actually it is the other way around. Hardware is 12MPix, where each pixel is divided into 4 subareas. Hardware does pixel binning of subareas, which is a normal way of operating. This can be changed for HDR, where subareas can get different exposure time. Or can be used to artificially increase resolution but result is more or less similar to common upsampling.
IMO the real resolution is limited by lenses, not sensor. Probably you can get some better results for middle area, which could be interesting for digital zoom. Anyway, don't expect big results form small sensor

Just got the phone, (Poco X3 PRO) and i'm to lazy to hustle around, i 1st tried MGC_8.1.101_A9_GV1x_ENG but slow-mo crashed just like @pootie_tang said, but this version you posted worked out of the box perfectly! the one you posted also crashed on me severally times, so yes, Oversharp is the best for now.
although not perfect (ex slow-mo is dark), but works great in usual scenarios without crashing.

I use the GCam port by TheDise and it works pretty well I think.
I'm not an expert so I don't know whether or not the ones your talking about would be better.
If anyone know about this, could they explain why or why not each one is best please?

10Personally i went back to GCAM v8.1 and MK+V7.3.5+FIX+4.4 config and not testing anything further. This is the most mature & stable Gcam & Config with pretty much everything working correctly including EIS. (Video Stabilization) Color rendition is natural, pictures are not oversaturated with good detail and sharpness.

I recently tested pictures indoors without daylight and was surprised by the quality and "natural color feel".

It says Some. BSG8.1 is not one of these.
On ArrowOS you dont need Google Photos. -

a) member Park Q claims Marco's 7.3_GCam_MJL_v4.3_Minilux.apk (2020-08-31, oneplus 6/6t) is optimized for 582 and 586 sensor. He has also posted two configuration XML files (Flat & Zoom)
b) member Team XKlaus claims MGC_8.1.101_A9 (BSG, 2021-03/04) allows 4k @ 60fps
Searching for "IMX582 celsoazevedo" I found the following:
UltraCVM_v4.apk (UltraM8, 2020-05-10, configs)
UltraCam_3.2.3.apk (UltraM8, 2020-02-19, configs)
UltraM8 bases off Urnyx05 or Arnova8G2 versions with additions and tunings ... with main focus on the IMX586 sensor (primary device Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro).
In Config Files for burial's GCam 7.2.x there is Xiaomi Mi A3 » mi-a3-x.j.b.-ver.1.xml which contains the string: Main Sensor: IMX582 (same as IMX586 without 4K and Stab
(Xiaomi Mi A3 has Sony IMX586 Exmor RS)
I need to look into this but share so we may find some basic optimization based on existing IMX582(586) configs what GCams might be good.
Just to clarify my focus:
a) good natural daylight main cam pictures (no oversharpening, no oversaturation, etc.)
b) 1080p 24fps EIS ExtraSmooth (Steady) Videos (no refocus, no pumping, no artefacts) possibly with UltraWide for less crop
c) Special Features like 1) Time Lapse 2) Slow motion 3) Night etc.
d) 4k 24fps EIS as good as possible like 1080p

For those with the POCO X3 Pro, what is the best GCam that is currently available to use - most stable, with better quality, etc....
I have tested some GCams from X3 NFC, but is a shot in the dark - some work, but i think is room to improve in the quality (could be some settings/configs too).
Maybe someone here found a specific one that works better
