Any new update for POCO X3 PRO Gcam config that is stable and better than the POCO X3 PRO camera ?

NOTE:
I like HIGHLY saturated and colorful photos

There are many stable GCam versions and configs. I would recommend the Poco x3 Pro telegram channel with lots of configs to download and information.

If you like more colorful photos, you can increase the saturation settings yourself in the settings. Or use the attached config with MGC_8.1.101_A9_GV2b_MGC.apk

This config has highly boosted saturation for all lenses. Despite unrealistic colours, it produces superb details and quality at bright light, but is for fast shutter, so photos in dark will be dark, intentionally, but many would find them too dark. This is matter of taste, I like that photos in dark show the situation, darkness, but If wanted to turn night into day, I suggest other configs.

LMC8.4 R15.apk also allows easily changing saturation in the gcam settings. A sample config included with this as well. This config allows long exposure in dark.

Configs (xml + lib) for Poco X3 Pro and LMC8.4 R15.

It was created on MIUI and it wasn't tested on custom roms. Some problems, if there are any, can be related to a rom.

Set Tele camera ID to 4, if Macro camera doesn't work for you.

Changes:

- Further improvements in sharpening
- Changes in luma and luma denoising
- Some other changes

About the configs:

✅ Detailed photos without over sharpness from all cameras
✅ Close to real colours from Main camera
✅ Natural looking photos
✅ Sat 1 and Sat 2 modes for more saturated photos from Main camera
✅ Upscaling is set to x2 for all cameras
✅ Turn on AWB in Night Sight mode to get accurate colours

Xml:

❗The xml must be used with my lib (link below):

How to use the xml and the lib:

1. Put the lib into folder:
/LMC8.4/libs
2. Put the xml into folder:
/LMC8.4
3. Double tap at the black area between shutter button and gallery to load the xml.
The lib is loaded automatically by the xml, if the lib is in right folder.

Hi,
is there a GCam that makes all 4 Poco X3 Pro cameras work? I´m on ArrowOS 13.0.

Thx for answering.

Works on 11T Pro. You have to verify that on your phone yourself.
While the rest of the Cam (did not try LMC so far) looks interesting, the EIS Video is not as good (in fact still shaky) as the best combo I tested so far: MGC_8.1.101_A9_GV1zfix + MK V7.3.5 FIX 4.4. BSG.xml
MIUI AnxCam is even better in good light conditions.

Yes, a GCam will never have such good stabilisation like stock camera,
Macro Camera instantly crashes on Arrow OS 13

Edit:
Macro should be ID4 not 2.
2 is depth cam
I will fix it in next update. I don't have X3 Pro as you can read in the description of the xml. I took lenses ID from other xml and a guy who tested the xml told me that all cameras work properly 😏 But I think it's not difficult to change ID, right? What about photo quality?

Just tried this on crDroid 9.1 and have the same problem with the macro as @Haldi4803 on Arrow OS 13 - the app instantly crashes. Could you please tell me what should be changed on this screen to enable the macro mode?

Screenshot_20230211-003831_LMC8.4.png

Also another problem for me is that photos taken with this app are unnaturally pale / not saturated (had no such problem with the factory camera on MIUI). Tried the "Sat 1" and "Sat 2" modes and while they indeed produce more saturated photos, the colors captured are far from natural. Any ideas how to improve this?

These photos where taken with v1 xml. I haven't touched colour settings in v2. What's wrong with colours on these photos? Maybe you took photos in low light? Then colours are less intensive. Or maybe you turned on AWB? Could you post some photos to show us the problem?
I attached screenshots because photo files were too big to post them here.

Great thanks to Luca Roman from Telegram (@IAMLUCAROMAN) for his time, tests and especially for necessary fixes to adopt my xml to Poco X3 Pro 👍❤️

Thanks for taking the time to respond. Changed the macro camera ID to the one you recommended and now it does not crash, but autofocus does not work - it is trying to focus and for a fraction of the second it is OK, then goes out of focus and stays that way. Regarding the colors: will take photos both in normal daylight conditions (haven't tried that so far) and indoors. The pictures I had problems with were taken indoors in the evening, using LED lights / no natural light.

Press the Leica Button.
That should OverSaturate the Pictures.

P.S SCGAM instantly Crashes on ArrowOs when you select 16:9 pictures

Some bluetooth gamepads have that option ( like 8bitdo Zero ).

Is it possible to remote control the shutter (WLAN, BT, IR) the GCam (or Stock MIUI-ANX) Cam?

    EDIT
while I found no App to easily remote control the Cam-Shutter from another Phone, I found a good alternative: a Headset with Volume control can be used. It works both in GCam and Stock MIUI-ANX Cam, this should reduce vibrations/movement when releasing the shutter...
Use the BT from a selfie stick. I used that with Gcam 8.1 on Android 12

    Hi,

For those with the POCO X3 Pro, what is the best GCam that is currently available to use - most stable, with better quality, etc....
I have tested some GCams from X3 NFC, but is a shot in the dark - some work, but i think is room to improve in the quality (could be some settings/configs too).

Maybe someone here found a specific one that works better :)

EDIT: This is my opinion after a few months: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/gcam-for-x3-pro.4256287/page-12#post-86486777

Personally i went back to GCAM v8.1 and MK+V7.3.5+FIX+4.4 config and not testing anything further. This is the most mature & stable Gcam & Config with pretty much everything working correctly including EIS. (Video Stabilization) Color rendition is natural, pictures are not oversaturated with good detail and sharpness.

Link to Gcam and config: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1miyPgiyzD5g5K7SgN-fNhaGjMYz7FiDo?usp=sharing (config for Custom ROM's NOT MIUI)

Some sample pictures from last few days, auto mode, handheld, nothing edited.

In the Telegram Poco X3 Photography group
    a) member Park Q claims Marco's 7.3_GCam_MJL_v4.3_Minilux.apk (2020-08-31, oneplus 6/6t) is optimized for 582 and 586 sensor. He has also posted two configuration XML files (Flat & Zoom)
    b) member Team XKlaus claims MGC_8.1.101_A9 (BSG, 2021-03/04) allows 4k @ 60fps

Searching for "IMX582 celsoazevedo" I found the following:
    UltraCVM_v4.apk (UltraM8, 2020-05-10, configs)
    UltraCam_3.2.3.apk (UltraM8, 2020-02-19, configs)
UltraM8 bases off Urnyx05 or Arnova8G2 versions with additions and tunings ... with main focus on the IMX586 sensor (primary device Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro).

In Config Files for burial's GCam 7.2.x there is Xiaomi Mi A3 » mi-a3-x.j.b.-ver.1.xml which contains the string: Main Sensor: IMX582 (same as IMX586 without 4K and Stab
(Xiaomi Mi A3 has Sony IMX586 Exmor RS)

I need to look into this but share so we may find some basic optimization based on existing IMX582(586) configs what GCams might be good.

    Just to clarify my focus:
    a) good natural daylight main cam pictures (no oversharpening, no oversaturation, etc.)
    b) 1080p 24fps EIS ExtraSmooth (Steady) Videos (no refocus, no pumping, no artefacts) possibly with UltraWide for less crop
    c) Special Features like 1) Time Lapse 2) Slow motion 3) Night etc.
    d) 4k 24fps EIS as good as possible like 1080p

    I made a GSheet comparison: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...kpsmnix1jUWCr2SMdPl_wprc8/edit#gid=1775206814

Well, long time since i started this topic. 😜

A quick update from my end and opinion about "the best", at least for me.
If you are in the Stock MIUI ROM, and unless you really need some feature of the GCam, stay with the default camera app from Xiaomi.
It provides the best quality, have auto filters, AI optimization, and in 99% of the times will be even better that GCam. (I'm serious, just test it out and compare for yourself).

In other ROMs, i recommend the Gcam 8.2 by Greatness with the config "zainullahgcam.xml".
    Here are the links:
    GCam: https://www.celsoazevedo.com/files/android/google-camera/dev-greatness/f/dl11/
    Config: https://www.celsoazevedo.com/files/android/p/f/2021/11/zainullahgcam.xml

The GCam can start a little "fuzy" after apply the config, but just restart it or restart the device and should be OK.
I think this provides the best quality possible. I cannot find any bug or issue and have been using it for weeks now. I am currently using ArrowOS 12.

    Here are some samples:

    Enjoy!
