Small comparison.
It's rom related problem. The xml was created on MIUI and 16:9 photos works properly.Press the Leica Button.
That should OverSaturate the Pictures.
P.S SCGAM instantly Crashes on ArrowOs when you select 16:9 pictures
Thank you. Very interesting. My subjective quick ranking:
It is indeed ROM related - I talked to a guy who is a serial flasher and according to him all the OSS based Android 13 ROMs on the X3 Pro suffer from this "washed out photos" phenomenon (it affects only displaying the photos on the phone, they look normal on Google Photos on the web). It's rom related problem. for this ver. I don't know how to reduce file size
Edit : Switched to nameless (22022) config
So in short it's not a Camera issue it's a Display issue that the Colors aren't overly bright on AOSP based ROMs compared to MIUI.all the OSS based Android 13 ROMs on the X3 Pro suffer from this "washed out photos" phenomenon (it affects only displaying the photos on the phone, they look normal on Google Photos on the web).

have you tried Microsoft Lens?I would like to find the best option to "scan" pages/documents/book-pages in an optimized format and if possible create a hOCR-PDF file (Original image with underlying hidden OCR-text) directly on the phone (vayu).
By your suggestion I tried it for the first time, thank you for the suggestion. I was expecting I need an MS Account and as well Online-Connection but surprisingly the App works without and by selection creates hOCR-PDF. The other options are saving image to Gallery and by MS-Login Word, PowerPoint, OneDrive, OneNote.
You have to turn it on in settings. My version is 8.4.400. Where is ultra wide option?

Use PhotoScan by Google. I have not tried unbend, glare works wonderfully. Even for posters on the wall.I would like to find the best option to "scan" pages/documents/book-pages in an optimized format and if possible create a hOCR-PDF file (Original image with underlying hidden OCR-text) directly on the phone (vayu). Since Google Camera update 7.2 (2019) at least on Pixel smartphones Google Lens visual recognition is integrated offering "Scan document" when such an object is recognized with feature to adjust the corners (including manually). Also the options "Share PDF" and "Share Image" is offered.
MIUI/ANX-Cam has a document mode which works well except for book pages curvatures, I have tested many Apps regarding optimized Document-Picture features (including for thick Books) and found vFlat an interesting app for intelligent "flattening" by deep learning of a page/document/book-page and also a surprisingly good OCR in multiple languages (limited daily free credit).
Since I have no Pixel device to check I would like to ask how good GCam Lens recognition is currently and if saving/sharing as PDF means in the hOCR-PDF Format?
Is there any GCam for vayu (or other App/Combo) supporting "Scan Document" and hOCR-PDF?
Thx. Tried it but seems more for large photographs, the documents I tried came with the letters "washed" out (shadow/blur, unclear font borders). Maybe I need to tweak and try more.Use PhotoScan by Google. I have not tried unbend, glare works wonderfully. Even for posters on the wall.
