Settings+ bag - swipe down and turn on "portrait mode on all models" - after this restart app and you will see portrait mode.

It's not really working. Well it takes a photo with a blurred bg but it doesnt apply hdr plus which should make these portraits look amazing. Couldnt make 10 the hdr plus work. Mate doesnt support "full" camera 2 api so I think the only hope is to have it rooted for gcam to work.

By portrait mode, you mean lens blur? That actually needs you to move the phone upwards?

It's really portrait mode however the photos it produce are not usable. The portrait mode of google camera works with Hdr+ which cant be enabled in mate 10 as aotm. What happens it take a single bluish photo ( probably the first shot from the supposed hdr+) and then it blurs the background.

@miniuser123 thank you for your hard work ? Gcam mod for samsung works at huawei mate 10 pro too. But at portrait mode there are very cold colors, (blue colors) if you can please make for us version to be standard colors. Thank you again for your hard work.

Is the HDR+ of the Gcam better than the one of the stock 10 pro app ?

Edit: And someone can confirm me that the 20mp option in the stock app is a software upscaling ?

I know it's not working on the mate 10, but I want to know if their software is better than our stock camera. (I want to know what is all this hype around this app) Why it's called HDR+ ? It means it's better than just Hdr?

@miniuser123 got a version working for Samsung that's works on Mate10

I got Portrait mode going on SG7 exynos. Only 1 line needed to be changed (changed image format from RAW10 to RAW_SENSOR).
