Hello everybody. I did some cleaning on my GDrive folder and uploaded a new stuff.

I uploaded HyperCam E1 version with additional libs included (called Naazzz libs). These libs should improve visibility of the details in the dark areas of the photo (unfortunately, on Omnivision sensor the difference will probably be less visible than on Samsung and Sony sensors).

Additionally, I uploaded several configs in xml files and sample pictures (taken with HyperCam E1 + Naazzz libs, in daylight - with HDR+ Enhanced, in the night - with Night Sight). You can test it yourself :) (warning: so-called "TrueColors" config doesn't give true colors at all :D).

Enjoy!

Do you have any other GCam mod installed? If so, try to clear data and uninstall, then try to install HyperCam. Maybe will help

I don't. I've just made a fresh install on my device and tried this from scratch. I think older version of gcam might solve the problem.
Any other idea?

One more thing that cross my mind... What ROM do you have?

MIUI 11 Stock ROM.
Aaah. Here is the culprit. Google Camera requires camera2api framework enabled, which as far as I know isn't enabled on MIUI stock ROMs. And I'm not sure if it can be enabled manually... You can search some info in the web. But if it can't, you would have to change ROM in order to use any GCam mod. A MIUI port for mido or AOSP-based ROM.

Already enabled by adding two lines in the build.prop file.

I give up, I don't know what else might cause this problem  Nobody else here or on Telegram reported such issue, and I installed the app without any problem too. I deleted the file from GDrive and uploaded once again (in case that the former apk was corrupted) along with E2 CFV version, which was released meantime (at the moment without modded Naazzz's libs). I left HyperCam V6 CFV on my drive too, try them all, maybe one of them will work for you

That won't help you. GCam doesn't work on MIUI 10 or MIUI 11. Xiaomi disabled it on purpose, so that you will have to buy a new phone.

Stop using MIUI and be happy
Haha, I knew that something is wrong with MIUI ? Fortunately I switched to AOSiP ;)

Nope none of them work. I remember when I was on MIUI 10 I've managed to install one old version of gcam and that one too was buggy.
I've tried Lineage OS few days ago but day after the installation started throwing errors with the pixel launncher. What ROM (and kernel) do you currently use on which gcam works nice?

AOSiP as well. Comes from a well known developer, monthly updates and super stable.

Precisely I use latest AOSiP DerpFest from Smokey (https://www.pling.com/dl?file_id=15...7.zip&file_size=706481260&project_id=1334557) with Ethereal kernel (https://forum.xda-developers.com/re...l-ethereal-kernel-redmi-note-4-t3869237/amp/) and all HyperCam CFV versions work fine. Not perfectly maybe (rare crashes on Night Sight), but definitely it is most stable GCam 6 mod for mido (especially with Omnivision sensor).

Thanks guys, I've finally got it working. It's night here so I'll try it tomorrow under daylight. I had problems while installing the AOSIP ROM with the fingerprint sensor not working and installing the mentioned Kernel. I've fixed the fingerprint but couldn't managed to install the kernel. Whenever I flash it through twrp the phone stuck on the boot animation. It's working fine with the stock one anyway.
Thanks again. :good:

HyperCam E2 CFV with modded Naazzz libs uploaded to the drive. I added some new xml's too.

Meantime HyperCam team released HyperCam S version, but it's been built on different base and doesn't work with Omnivision sensor. But reported to be working with Samsung and Sony. For further details check Telegram groups under the links in the OP.

So probably E2 is the last mod I uploaded...
