Ten306 has good settings.

Do don't freeze with HDR we have to tweak the following : on system settings->stream configuration the values of every camera(main, tele, wide, front) and in same system settings-> HDR model.

There must be some combination that doesn't freeze the viewfinder.

On Processing functions->noise model we can put the correct for every sensor.

Now for wide it doesnt exist the 258imx but we can use S5K3L6 (S20FE).

On Processing functions->auto white balance I don't know which since they don't have the one for our phone. I put pixel 2.

I tryed this version from BigKaka:

with the configuration file for Xperia 1 III and its the first that has HDRnet (not HDR+ or enhanced) active and it doesnt freeze the viewfinder and saves the file.

The problem is that it needs tweaking cause it hasn't got the correct lens settings and it's too wide from beginning on the main sensor.

Try it, tell what u think and if u think we can get something from it.

Generally on BigKaka's versions you can tweak many settings

It is too wide on main sensor as it uses wide one in fact. You can check it by covering it with your finger. Mian sensor is on only in Portrait mode for this setup. Thus we can't say much for HDR+ or Night mode for the main sensor here.

Searched the whole net to gather the following informations : an old Gcam based on V6 that had buffer fix is the only working with no freezing viewfinder and hdr enhanced. So either someone finds a solution or make a magisk mod to fix the buffer freezing or a Gcam modder need to implement the old buffer fix in newer versions. Asked everywhere on telegram and making a mod with buffer fix is very unlikely to happen..

It's most probably about the Stream config or the image buffer size. Newer gcams needs that and i don't know how to manually extract the stream. It'll solve the freezing issue once someone gets the stream config For Snap S21 Fe

I managed to get aux Working 100% on latest AGC mod with just the right stream config. Samsung is probably using a different stream config for the main that's why it keeps hanging. We need to extract it and i couldn't find out just yet how to do it.

even though this phone was released months ago, it is still very popular in Europe, and I got one few weeks ago... I really hope to find a working GCAM it's such a shame not to be able to use GCAM on this device because the hardware is good and I'm sure results would be great... too bad nobody could solve the viewfinder freezing issue

The results are amazing. I already made xmls with stunning results. The mods can all click pictures if you're fast enough with same results as any other flagship phone. It's just the viewfinder that's freezing after 3 seconds of opening the app or changing between mods. Here's a pic of my dog taken by Shamim's mod.
