Sorry if this is a known issue, but I couldn't find anything. On my essential phone, with the 6.1 camera, sometimes when I press the capture button it goes grey and nothing happens. No picture or anything. Any ideas why this happens? I think this has happened to me with the Arnova's builds also but in this build is more common.

I am experiencing same issues you have commented above and in your most recent post.
1) Camera capture button sometimes works, sometimes not, but always appears to register touch.
2) Slomo does not work. Enabling Slomo crashes app.

I had read these features were supposed to work on this version for non-root PH-1 devices.

Previous version Slomo and capture work well for me.

Currently playing with Pixel3Mod version (experiencing the on-screen rotary menu selection), and using Pixel2Mod (with menu drop-down) for functional app needs (Slomo, various HDR, etc.) along with OEM app for 360-camera usage.

1. Ive seen this in his builds before.
2. This is one of those ones that needs root for slomo i assume, or theres a 120/240 fps setting somewhere that needs to be set to 120 by default.

Toggling to portrait mode fixes this for me. I can either immediately take a picture in portrait mode or just toggle back into the normal camera. Seems to happen more when quick launching the app via double press of the power button, maybe more so from a locked phone/screen off.

I cannot get this to install. I even went back and uninstalled my other gcam and downloaded it again but it still won't install, it goes through to the end and says "App not installed".

The detail set up is already dialed in, the only thing u can change around is the rear cam model and optional libs, i will leave that tweaking upto you.
