It can work with root & Magix module, I've not tried though so not up to date with it,

Will it work? Mine is not rooted yet. Therefore I want to be dead sure b4 rooting my phone.

Anyone tried Arnova's latest Beta GCam ver 8 based release?

I've tried both Arnova's and BSG. Arnova doesn't work at all. BSG can take pictures, some video modes crash (slomo, timelaps). Seems like it's not ready for the PH1. I don't have mine rooted, so I can't provide logs. I'm currently using latest Burial gcam.
