Any way to get telephoto lens to work on custom roms running on the S20 series? Running UI 2.1 with LineageOS, but Gcam (com.samsung.android.scan3d) crashes when I switch to camera id 52. I'm guessing Samsung is doing other proprietary firmware-specific **** on the rom beyond package name checking to lock it down further?

Would be nice to crack it open with Magisk or Xposed. :/ Really nice phones, but boy is this company toxic for doing this.

Yeah, I tried that way back, but it's Exynos and doesn't install on Snapdragon. The other HW tools I've used only identify 0, 1, 2, and 3.

Nope. At least not until someone figures out how to re-enable telephoto on custom roms.

Hi, does somebody was able to use telephoto on N20 Ultra with Snapdragon? It's seems to be working but for photo only with Wichaya 3.1.1. Video with telephoto crashes the app. In BsG telephoto is detected on the ID21 but remains dark on photo or video. Other versions don't work at all. I'm on OneUI 3, Android 11

Can't change resolution, but you can use 16:9 from the GUI. It's in the same menu where you can choose between the various HDR modes.

Well ID52 worked nicely, wideo works. Do you know how to increase mbits rate, as it's not an option with newest BsG?

It's in settings > developer settings. Search for bitrate.

Thank you, found, now I'm only missing front camera, do you know ID of it? It's working on BsG, but then I can't change ID of the Telephoto to the correct one. Plan to vlog little in the summer.

I'm using S20 Ultra snapdragon 988U, and the front cam seems to show up when I press more will in camera mode, maybe that would help somehow.

Has anyone figured out how to use 100x zoom on the S20 Ultra?
