Just installed GCam_7.3 Burial_release_beta_4.apk + Note10_Burial7.3Beta4_NoCurve_AWB-LowDenoise-by-CostasPilot.xml

Hope this combo works just fine

overall i like the quality of the stock cam also. one thing i'd like it to have was the 3.7x optical zoom like these gcam mods, instead of the "hybrid" 5x zoom.

One thing i lack in these gcam mods is using the volume buttons as shutter timer. this isn't available in the setup options.

Any full resolution samples taken by your combo, please?

The volume buttons work as shutter on mine by default, i didn't have to set anything. I use onfire.

The the latest gcam released By Arnova is perfect for taking Non Hdr image. The images are incredible. The camera of xiaomi note 10 has really equipped with the best image sensor in the world. With gcam you can find the real capability of this monster.

Tbh there's a big update from burial which worth to go.
With its new B5 the HDR+ zsl picture taken with burial improved drastically.
With HDR++ was already good (my favourite with Onfire) but now even for quick shots I prefer it to Arnova and Ultracam instantaneous HDR:

I really like it!

I prefer onfire for Hdr + pic and arnova for quick shots. But for better results i change exposure of the main camera to .6 in onfire

I tried many xlm but found the default with +0.4 exposure is good enough for me.

Does gcam have face recognition? If so, I don't think it works...

Here is my experience with it, on stock Global Android 10 ROM: It force-closes randomly. The wide-angle is too dark, the main camera is too muted, bright reds don't pop. The worst part is that randomly generates 08mp image files from the main camera and from the 2x telephoto.

Do not forget that accordingly to own taste light and colours are to eventually be adjusted with xmls.
But raw produced with latest burials are probably the best round here, as far as I heard from some photo-pros.

Anyway tastes are tastes, fine.

But for what concern technically problems it sounds like there's something else, as I remember you were not able to use onfire, and now you've burial randomly closing and so on...

No idea owhat all this can be due to...

Yeah, I just tried clean installs with OnFire, Burial, Pitbull and a few others. OnFire doesn't even start, it crashes immediately. Burial works most of the time, but still too many issues to be usable.

I keep coming back to Urnyx, which to my eyes has great balance and it is solid enough to replace the main cam for me. I really wish that I could shoot in 16x9, since I view my photos on a large screen TV most of the time, but as you said, nobody does it, except Minilux, which still doesn't frame it right in the viewfinder. Minilux would be amazing if it supported all lenses thought..

I don't even know why anyone shoots in 4x3 nowadays, other that the fact that it's the native format for most sensors. But on any modern TV it looks like a 1970s TV show :)

Anyway, Urnyx is the one for me. Thanks for your help guiding me though.

Good thing that urnyx run smoothly!

Optics works 4/3 and we know it, but why gcam upon adapting to non-pixels goes so low with res not following the various main sensor's mp is unknown to me... :(

Ultimate UHD minor update

@cylon74 Search for perfection never ends, so my latest Ultimate XML for Mi Note 10 is here :) Lib is TN0606 which I liked it especially for reds indoor. More decreased luma values to further increase the details. Sharpness from 1.125 to 1 to have similar very low noise as Ultimate 2.2. Other parameters same as Ultimate 2.2. So it is good for color fidelity, very low noise on any light, and now higher details.
v 1.2 changelog: Changed lib to TN0606. Tonecurve changes on main cam. Tonecurve is default on for brighter looking photos with higher luminance contrast

Uzai, with softness 2 so called xml, buddy. Dennis asked me about thatP.M and I sent him screenshots of Ultimate and Uzai softness 2 when he wanted me to and that made him confirm Uzai's stealing

I am more satisfied with my XML when comparing with other XMLs from time to time, so I don't make big changes at the moment with Ultimate XML

I'm currently using burial and onfire.
One with an xml made for awb on, your one of course, still to try this new one.
Another with an xml made for awb off, I'm happy with dennis' one but never made a deep comparison with makshow.

Re to uzai's, any of it, a took a super quick look occasionally and always the results seems to me for colours always pushed to the edge, definitely too much.

But no idea it was a copy...!!!

I don't want to be misunderstood, I don't claim mine is perfect (besides no XML can be perfect) but I am more satisfied. Dennis's latest XML is a fine example while AWB is off default Itried it on because saturation is low, Makshow's Beautiful XML is nice but too noisy for my taste.

For Uzai, I incidentally added to my comparison with Dennis when Duong shared a photo praising the XML. Then I was shocked! He wasn't man enough even to confess it. They have deleted his XMLs from the channel by the way.
