Unfortanely the slow motion doenst work, but now, you can hide it. I've tested other versions too, but that is the most compatible.

Obs.: I cannot post links because my post number.

I can not understand these versions of GCam. I tried several and the one I liked the most unfortunately does not work the normal way. I would like to find an updated version that would work everything !!

I`ve tested many versions, but the most compatible is the xtreme`s releases for OP/OP6.

I believe the slow MOTION not work well, because the Android version running on Z3 Play is the 8, maybe in the Android Pie this error does not occur (based on OP6).

The latest posted by xtreme (beta18) for OP6, i found two bugs:
- Hide slow motion inverted;
- ARCore don't save videos (never worked);

But has many bug fixes and improvements too.

EDIT:
Version beta20 released. Slow motion hide button fixed.

EDIT2:
Even on android Pie, the slow motion does not work

Just found the perfect Pixel 3 camera app for the Z³ Play on Android Pie. Everything works perfectly. Just enable "Use classic Photo Viewer" in Gcam settings.
I also included the Google Playground app in the folder: dropbox.com/sh/q71s44tmlc2u017/AAC68w9tEoYQckt9FMGwKwi-a?dl=0

Enjoy
New version released f.celsoazevedo.com/file/gcamera/GCam_6.1.021_N7P_test2.5.apk.

I will test both, on android Pie. Thx.

I tested the version GCam_6.1.021_N7P_test2.6.apk by back.rider and everithing work fine. I had an issue with the old version of the stickers during save my videos, but after update to Playground didn't happen again.

Works great! Now my phone is even better after the Pie update!

Can we enable 1080p 60fps video recording with GCam_6.1.021_N7P_test2.6.apk? I dont have that option...only 30 and 'auto'. Im on RETUS Pie.

Thanks.

Edit: Had to turn off image stabilization in settings and now 60fps recording works fine.

Did you mean video stabilization? If not, can you tell me where image stabilization is because I cannot find it anywhere...

The only place I could switch to 60fps is within the video itself, not the settings... Does that sound correct? Or is there a spot to change it within the settings?

TIA!

I just downloaded Camera PX from apkmirror the other day and installed it on my Z3. It is a port for all versions of the Pixel but it works on my Z3 except that it randomly crashes. It has a different signature than the stock camera, so it installs side by side so you can continue to use stock.

The only odd thing I have noticed since installing it is that the stock camera will either take two pictures, one of which is an unsupported format, or will just take one picture that is unsupported. I didn't actually go into a file explorer and see what type of files they are, though. And I don't know if installing the Camera PX had anything to do with this issue. Could just be random. It doesn't always do it.
