Hey guys, I picked up the Moto Z3 Play Unlocked at Walmart yesterday for $124. The link in the OP is dead so I'm looking for the latest GCAM.
The Moto GCAM page doesn't have any versions for the Moto Z3 Play here:

https://www.cyanogenmods.org/gcam-google-camera-for-motorola-devices/

Not sure if this one works yet but here is the page with updated versions of GCAM:

A slickdeal if I may say. :good: This is the GCAM, I'm using https://drive.google.com/file/d/1XBTQCRAoK5kFPEz7rfNh_V7or7N-eFBV/view?usp=sharing

GCam 6.2 is working well on mine. A great little hack to move output from default internal DCIM to microSD in real time (free) or batch (paid) is in the Play Store - doesn't move video or DNG: GCam Tool (AppTuners)

My understanding is GCam 6.2 is the latest that will function on Android 9.0. A moderator at the Official Moto user forum has written that they are testing Android 10 for possible future upgrade, and I'd guess that would support a later GCam port. I'd be interested in users getting any news of Android 10.x and compatible GCam releases if and when that happens.

Android 9, try the new ultracam which is based on the 7.2 version of GCam.
Thanks. UltraCVM v. 4 is seems to be working out of the box (v. 4.1 unstable). Have to compare with the very good, simplified Back.Rider 6.2 mod. The UltraCam (and other unstable 7.x mods I tried) produces DNGs half the size of the 23MB files from Back.Rider's or the manual app Camera FV-5 - seem to be compressing the DNGs. (For me it will depend on whether all the UltraCam manual settings and maybe SR Zoom are wanted - new Camera FV-5 version 5 is excellent and stable on this phone, which seems to reject a lot of third-party camera apps.)

[Update] I've thought it's only possible to run one GCam app rather than keep them installed side by side. Working back and forth with Backrider's (GCam 6.2) and UltraCVM (GCam 7.3) ports I just tried to install them both on the Moto Z3P, and both seem to be working right at first instance. I'd be interested if there is a functional downside or performance impact to having two GCams installed. Have not saved personal UltraCVM v. 4 setting on xml but wonder anybody here has a good one for Moto Z3P.

I have a question for Z3 Play owners, i bought mine yesterday (my og pixel got smashed to the floor, unfortunately) but it will take a few days to arrive, i tried to figure out the camera sensor model the device has, is it a Sony IMX? in the past with the Moto Z2 play i managed to modify some GCam stuff (they are still posted here in XDA), i would like to know if this device has an Sony Exmor RS IMX362 (that is what i suspect). Thanks in advance.
