Thank you dear friend.Hi.
Please check this link, https://we.tl/t-BfzaiKcdY0, this is our bootlogo that we place in the units that we install. We provide this service as a extension of our main activity so this is not a publicity or sales promotion, it is only a bootlogo example that I am sharing with @MauriBixio .
The details of the file are:
960 480 20
p 0 0 part0
It is a unique part file with 91 frames that continuous in a endless loop until the end of the boot time.
This unit is a fresh one, so we don't have too much to load but even in the future the logo will continue in the loop until the end of the time.
So depending of you logo you may make a endless loop with:
1280 720 30
p 0 0 part0
and will redo and redo the sequence without any stop.
One aspect.
Sometimes when editing the desc.txt with notepad I realise that the final bootanimation.zip was corrupted and was not updated with success.
I prefer to use wordpad.
In case of doubts do it in Boot Animation Factory to avoid additional bugs in your test process.
best of luck
Igo Israel Navi app (offline) swicth day by night automatically...Did you manage to enable dark mode on maps or whatever navigation app on this unit ?
so, my boot animation is similar in time as yours. The bootlogo stay ca. 7sec. then there is playing a bootanimation ca. 4sec. i don't have setting the loop, so animation is stops, and wait till change to window on "your phone is starting"Hi.

Continuos loop:so, my boot animation is similar in time as yours. The bootlogo stay ca. 7sec. then there is playing a bootanimation ca. 4sec. i don't have setting the loop, so animation is stops, and wait till change to window on "your phone is starting"
So, how to make the animation in a loop?
Hi,Continuos loop:
1280 720 30
p 0 0 part0
this ONLY if you use one folder "part0"
--------
One loop (possible to use 2 or plus folder....):
1280 720 30
p 1 0 part0
ecc.......
ecc.......
ecc.......
ecc.......
Best way if you want to use animation WITH loop:
don't use many image frames, so it becomes smoother and more beautiful.
I prefer a single animation WITHOUT a loop, but obviously it takes more frames and needs to be more customized to cover all the time required to finish the boot animation.
png frame makes the final zip file too heavy, better jpg frame.Hi,
I made a few for myself and with my latest and the earlier ones before I have not always the blue screen with the "starting device" message, but it will always shows a blue screen, this can be 1 or 2 seconds,
1 of the approx. 10 starts it shows the starting device message on my s8 unit.
I have 108 files total, part0 72 files, part1 36 files, as web based 24bit png,
My present ani I have now:
640 320 20
p 1 0 part0
p 0 0 part1
Original boot ani in our firmware is as a 640 180 20 with a part0 and part1 with total 105 png24 files.
For me it seems that during the animation the launcher not getting started yet, but is starting after the bootanimation by the system., just an idea.
A "heavy" launcher takes more time to start, I use Agama.
Testing with longer animation can also be easily done with modifying part1.
Instead of continuous loop you can also set a loop with an amount of frames in part1.
BTW can also be done with 7zip, just zip it with compression method "store" or better use free bootani factory.
For instance:
1280 720 30
p 1 0 part0
p 120 0 part1
part1 will be then 4 seconds (120/30).
Well I my case my animation is as big/ small as the Android stock animation, I don't use a full screen resolution, only showing a spinning 3D Opel logo.png frame makes the final zip file too heavy, better jpg frame.
Winrar 3.9.0 is needed if you have to add or remove files inside the .zip archive, but in any case even with 7zip I think it's possible to do it.
Theoretically, during an animated boot Android loads the file System, it is strange that it detects that this happens only after it has finished (then it would not make sense to integrate the animated boot into Android, it would only lengthen the cold boot phase).
Thanks for your reflections with live test.![]()
Depends on what phone you have, and what android version it is running.Howto lower app output volume on android ? I'm not familiar with BOOP, haven't stumbeld upon that yet
What car? it definately sounds like you have a built in amplifier, else it would be extremely quiet when the speakers get ~6v at volume setting 1.Got s4 today, really hard to install it.
Now there are 2 problems.
background noise is too loud also the sound.
Maybe my ear is too sensitive, cz I can hear background noise from many speaker with an internal amp.
And I have to set the amplified level to -15dB, which means 3% compared to 0dB.
Thought the sound is still too loud. Have to set the sound level at 3-5.
I don't think the car's internal amp caused that, cuz I don't think my car has internal amp.
the firmware is 230326 now, I'm going to ask if they have newer firmware.
The rest I can't complain about, the HU worth 200 Euro.
You can find the links to the firmware a few posts back to this one, up to the last one available...Got s4 today, really hard to install it.

HI.Well I my case my animation is as big/ small as the Android stock animation, I don't use a full screen resolution, only showing a spinning 3D Opel logo.
My looping part1 has 36 frames and runs smooth, spinning around.
With 1 frame you can only show a static picture and not see if unit is hanging or not.
Just wanted to keep it as close as the original stock animation, indeed .jpg will do fine too.
I know for 100% sure 7zip can do it, as long as you zip it with the "store" compression level option.
Theoretically yes, but see on my unit that the launcher gets started after the animation, myself not using one of the stock launchers.
My bootanimation runs for about 5 seconds, more then enough time to start the launcher you would think, if you also take the few seconds of the cold start bootlogo in account.
Megane 3 2014, with the most simple radio. What car? it definately sounds like you have a built in amplifier, else it would be extremely quiet when the speakers get ~6v at volume setting 1.
Well it should work.HI.
my full scene\animation has 185 frames .jpg (full screen 1280*720) all placed in part0.
While in part1 I have only 1 frame #186, identical to the last present in part0, so the real animation is all in part0, and when it changes in part1 it is practically over, and it's ok for me if it becomes a static frame .
I do NOT use loops.
This my "desc.txt"
1280 720 30
p 1 0 part0
p 0 0 part1
However, I still have to install my animation on the radio, and understand if it is necessary to make changes ...
What do you think?
Ah. IIRC Renault uses very low power radios, and therefore have speakers that respond VERY easily to current, ergo will be VERY loud with a proper amplifier that the S-class units have. Default is something like 4x20w and you are now feeding them 4x45w from the TDA7388 amplifier built into the stereo.
Do you know any working app which can be installed in ours HU, and it allow you to set the volume separately to apps. I have something like this in samsung phone, and it call Sound Assistant. But it is only for samsung devices, ant it not work in HU (i was try it). There is also something like AppVolumControler, but it is for older version of android, and it also not work for us.Depends on what phone you have, and what android version it is running.
This is Samsung specific: https://www.howtogeek.com/796399/how-to-adjust-volume-for-individual-apps-on-samsung-galaxy-phones/
Else, if it is a Xiaomi phone, or a android version that has also added the functionality, this is the way: https://www.androidauthority.com/xiaomi-miui-12-sound-assistant-1133145/
OTHERWISE - use a colume control app that supports individual strream volume settings: https://www.androidauthority.com/best-volume-control-apps-android-3101217/
So now that you have found the right place please go over the thread. Mic modding is discussed several times allready. Only hardware modding, gain modification wouldn't solve the hardware design flows with mic(s).Hello,
I have this model of radio or very similar. Since everything I could find only led me to this forum, therefore, I understand that I am in the right place.
I have a problem with the microphone and it is that when you talk to people they tell me that they hear me very low and with noise. I have tried connecting an external microphone, but I have found that it continues to use the internal microphone.
Is there any way to modify the gain of the microphone in engineer mode as in other radio models?
Thanks
I see the same situation in my unit. Annother bug in softwareHello guys,
i am facing two troubles with S8 unit 8Gb/128Gb (Hizpo). Firmware latest from autofather.com.
1. Fan remain on if unit wake up from sleep, even when temperature of CPU is lower than 50°C and fan app is set to automatic mode.
This happen only when unit wakeup. Not happen if unit start from cold start.
If i open fan app, set manual mode, then automatic mode, fan will work only when temperature reach more then 50°C.
it is little anoying doing this everytime when unit wakeup.
2. When unit switched to dark mode, google maps will not switch to dark mode and stay in light mode.
Can anybody give me some advice how to fix this two issues?
i have the same info on label sticker but actually it is 8GB, at least every "device info app" say so
In my opinion there's absolutely NO advantage to use AA/CarPlay if you have 4G SIM with good signal coverage. You only get hotter HU being moooore busy running AA/CarPlay wich will also runs slower and also draining your phone battery for no reason. Is there any advantage of using Android Auto or CarPlay on the Android HU if all apps you need are installed on HU and the HU has its own sim car with cell service?
Now i'm waiting for cc3 2k, so when it comes, i'll say some more, compare to s8 unit which i use since februarySome features are better on Teyes than Sx.
The CPUs are not the same, either.
UI: they are all similar, true, but the graphics of a UI are subjective, I don't like the UIs of both Sx and Teyes, for example.
A real IMPORTANT point for me is the display, in particular its sharpness, brightness and anti-glare, lasts the day, with direct sun.
Well, with my S8 8GB\128GB as I have written here several times it is VERY BAD, very low brightness, during the day at 100% almost not readable what is running underneath. Anti-glare film does not exist...
IF Teyes CC3 2K instead has a better screen, which you can see perfectly during the day, for me it would already be a great thing, even if it costs more than Sx units, but the problem...is all this true or does Teyes just want to advertise\marketing ?
Anyone who sells advertises their product for sale even more than reality, to sell it...
ONLY someone who has purchased and uses the latest Teyes CC3 2K units could truly say that!
Of course, MANY problems also arise from poor writing of the latest firmware and MCUs released by developers.I have a QF03 never had a single issue with it. Have updated to latest firmware and have done 1 mcu update (1 more available not sure if I will install)
Just by trying a bunch of different codes and looking for patterns. Starting by looking at the codes we already knew I discovered they are all a repeating sequence of digits that are adjacent to each other on the keypad. Once you find a pattern there’s usually another code that uses the same pattern somewhere else on the keypad. If you actually type in the codes and look at the physical pattern they make you’ll see what I mean. For example 114477 is just the digits in the left column of the keypad going down. 336699 is the same pattern in the right column. And then some codes are just variations on top of that, like doing a code in reverse (which we already knew) as well as adding 00 to the end of some. This is how I discovered all the codes. Once I’d find one code Id try that same pattern in all places and variations. Simple as that! I’m sure there’s more patterns yet to be discovered so try different ideas out and see what you can find. With many people using these strategies I’m sure we can discover more! I may have even missed a few using the patterns of ones I found.
