Hizpo S8, MCU is latest 230207 (https://jitu321077708mcu230207.oss-cn-hangzhou.aliyuncs.com/mcu.bin), radio is TDA7708.
As of No 4., stock audi radio BNS 5.0 was displaying station name but this unit displaying only frequency in radio. But if I open phone, it displays "PHONE" so its capable of displaying text.

i'm sure the dispay can show the text, but does it show when you run original app?

RDS info on the unit I don't think are related to canbus, but to the radio chip tuner.

TDA7708 is able to display them with HU stock radio app, I display them without problems.

Not sure if you ALSO display RDS info on your original little car display via canbus,indeed maybe it's not possible to have (if I understand correctly you have Audi)...the canbus of these units with German cars (I have BMW) doesn't provide many things ...eg. AC climatic control management and more does not work.

RDS is okey, working on mine also. I was asking of displaying radio station name on instrument cluster on the car, because stock audi radio has that option, but android display only frequency.

Normally all models send to canbus just the frequency as an integer or float value, not text.
Even more if the broadcast to canbus is handled by MCU, there is nothing i can do to change it because I can't modify the MCU code.
Anyway first i'll need to look at the code in the original app to understand how is handled.
We'll see...

Hizpo technicians are incompetent...I got tired of communicating with them, they never understand what you're asking (or maybe they pretend not to understand) and in the end they don't know how to solve technical problems.

On the other hand, excellent communication with Hizpo compared to commercial stuff, they ALWAYS respond.

The only thing that differentiates the canbus issue with BMW cars (at least up to firm. 0414):

where you read "CanMcu" version you have the data of the vers. HU hardware canbus, while with BMW I have everything empty... I asked Hizpo the reason, nothing, they can't answer, incompetent technicians as usual!

Maybe this reason makes canbus communication (on some things) not work with BMW.
Does AC Climatic control work with your HU and Audi?

AC controls are shown in popup, and it work good for me. I have Skoda Superb 2012.
In 0207 SW, i hadn't any info about canbus (in system info screen). In 0328 it was "V1.1".
I don't remember how it was in 0414, but in latest SW it show as you see in my pic.
Have you try to reset a canbus model with onternet connection on?

Sure...tried everything related to canbus...AC climatic contral doesn't work at all.

Even with previous firmw. and MCU files, same thing, and I've never seen info about vers. canbus on "CanMcu: " summary.

Info is shown correctly in the car-canbus section, see picture (old, with stock HU firmware, no current 0414, but just to understand what I'm talking about.).

Naturally everything else works via canbus... but AC control and radio transmitter info in the oem display on the dashboard don't.

With my car, canbus works for:
auto reverse cam, parking sensors animation (icon with car with colored waves approaching), dynamic steering lines, all buttons on the steering wheel ok, doors open everywhere, show ext. temperature,setup units (C or F) Km or M measurement unit, setup to see in the oem dashboard display the fuel consumption in lt\100km or KM\lt and something else.
It should work (but I don't have) temperature control of the heated seats.

It does not work:
- Nothing inherent AC climatic dual control (for me it would be very important to have this instead) as the HU hides the oem command display (below) and when I have to set the dual control temperatures I can't see the oem display well.
- any info in the oem display on the dashboard (ardio transmitter, etc.) that I could see with the oem BMW radio instead.
- NO infos (directly in the HU) relating to fuel consumption\residual consumption\average speed.

Note:
in the gui of canbus\HU there are also other settings (setup timer for coming and leaving home with the front lights) and more that I don't remember, but I don't want to act on these things, which maybe later ruin the various control units of the car. ..
I also have canbus hardware by LZ and for never auto I have to use this setting... maybe the AC problem here!

For those who have the AC climatic contol WORKING???
- What kind of canbus hardware does it have?
- Model?
- Builder?
- Canbus setting of your car?

Я попробовал это приложение на Car Launcher pro (на данный момент протестируйте только с телефоном, я хочу сначала создать свою тему ...), и оно отлично работает в фоновом режиме.

Однако с телефоном, когда он подключается к Car Launcher, в начале появляется всплывающее окно (если у меня активен Интернет для передачи данных), а затем сразу после этого всплывающее окно исчезает.

Нет другого бесплатного и без рекламы проигрывателя, который работает полностью встроенно, в фоновом режиме (даже в начале) с Car Laucher pro?
