Hi there, I recently procured an Mekede/Navifly 3GB RAM 32GB ROM M300s ( I think) from Amazon:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B092Z2JH9S?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
The first one I got managed to have a screen that was falling out, and the Bluetooth wasn't working. Error code 65535 when opening the Bluetooth app, no name or password assigned. Also RDS wasn't working.
Then I exchanged that, and my replacement also has the same Bluetooth issue. I was able to work around it by flashing the latest firmware provided to me by the seller here:
http://www.mekede.com/Software Download Address1/ and changing sys.fyt.bluetooth_type=1 to 0 but I hear this disables Bluetooth BLE
RDS is still not working, however.
I tried a different firmware linked by another XDA member here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/medeke-navifly-7862.4248969/post-86698923, which I noticed was a newer version. Surprisingly, CarPlay opens even faster with it. But I still had to change the bluetooth_type back from 1 to 0.
Talking to the seller can be a lot like pulling teeth, so I am curious to see if others have seen similar issues. Would anyone have any ideas? I can live with all this considering I got it for very cheap, harness already made for my car, it can do wired/wireless CarPlay just fine, but I want to make sure I have it working the best I can.
Also side note: Mine has a cooling fan. But I am not sure if it is working, I have it plugged into the harness but I can't feel any air out of it or hear it if I put my head close to it, maybe it spins at a really low RPM?
