Having storage problem after upgrade to JB

Hello, i am new here~ recently i updated cm10.2 alpha 4, but i faced a problem that's i cannot detect my sd card (internal/external) camera/gallery unable to use, i've also tried cm10.1 alpha 9 the problem is still persist.

It's there any solution on this? cause I've searched the forum and googled, but no luck:(

ps: the problem won't happen in stock rom (2.3.6), but i wanted my i9003 to be upgraded JB without having this frustrated problem!

i fixed the problem, if anyone had a problem like me, just go to the storage and mount the sd card

Hi!
Try this ROM dude! It's based on latest Android OS kitkat.
It's better.

Magnetic Sensor

Hi. I'm using CM 10.2 alpha 4 on my i9003 and apps* that try to read the magnetic sensor fail. Is there any fix for this?

* Compass gives "Magnetic Sensor Error!!"
* CPU-Z (in Sensors tab) has no reading for MS-3C Magnetic Sensor and MS-3C Orientation Sensor

By the way, on stock ROM my i9003 magnetic sensor works properly. Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi,

I got help from a friendly user before and read a bit about the different ROMs.

Now I settled for SlimBean 4.3. When I Read the Install instructions, I'm completely confused: The Links provided, especially "Slim-4.3.build.1.6-WEEKLY-1193-GalaxySL-JLS36G-Alpha3.zip", don't contain any MD5 files or something that I could put on my PDA DDLF2 Phone via Odin.

The ZIP contains already what looks like the final file structure including busybox and some SH files. What should I put into the PIT / BOOTLOADER / PDA / PHONE / CSC fields in Odin?

And what is a GAPPS file and how do I install it?

Cheers!

No bro, custom roms allways flash thru custom recovery(cwm,twrp...), only stock roms can be flashed with odin. Flash first proper cwm recovery and then flash custom roms. Look for cf-root here in xda, it contains cwm.

stock firmware

what diffrence does it make if i install stock
ROM DDLF2 using one file only as provided by teashar.com or sammobile site

instead of
using 5 files
(pit,bootloader,modem etc.) as suggested by
sgtechwork in this thread.

Flashing 1file firm is like an update(no repartion), flashing 5/4files firm you "clean" all partitions and start from fresh firm. [ 5files=data wipe, 1file=upgrade existing rom]

Just a suggestion, if you planning to start to flash roms i recomend to flash full firm (5/4files) instead of 1file package.

Try Nameless (and solve 80% of CM's issues)

I'm new here, but i hope to help someone to keep alive this pretty good device, i've tried all the CM and then moved to Nameless rom. it's 4.4.4 and run much more faster than CM whith daily updates and a lot of useful staff build inside. developers made a great work and i think we should give it a shot. hope I've been useful, good day to everybody :)

you can find the rom here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2762873

Escaped from where...once you are in custom ROM you are trapped there...no escape, no escape.
