Bro I think the code is XT1506,for me is so in india. And yes it works I used 12.1 earlier now using cm13 it's working fine. 12.1 had some bugs bt u can manage.

Bro you can't say for sure anything!
My take is:as you are asking this you must have bootloader.-unlocked +rooted+twrp/cwm installed on device by now.

Make a full backup of everything (system+boot+data+cache...) by booting into recovery and then proceed (flash cm12.1/13) zip) if anything goes wrong or fails you can always restore and get back where you left off. This is the benefit of being a root user,as i do flashing something you are not sure can brick device or get you stuck into bootloop. Feel free to ask anything as I uses moto e still and went through same issues and anxiety as yours. Thanks

Use viper4android it working very well.
For themes - after reboot change theme to default, now apply theme you want, it worked for me.

Problem with Euro Base
Hello,I already customize my Moto E xt1527 with the last CM 12.1 for Surnia and everything is working great.I use 4G LTE Switch app to change the baseband for Europe region,but when i select "Set GSM/UMTS band" EURO BAND (GSM-900/DCS-1800/WCDMA-IMT-2000) my moto work only in 2g(EDGE).
I try everything without any results. Change newtok mod, change apn.. Nothing. I call to the mobile operator support, and they tell me my phone should be working in 3g but depends of firmware or modem baseband frequencies who are set in. The frequencies who provide my Mobile provider here are:
Telenor Bulgaria.
3G/2100 Mhz
4G LTE/1800 Mhz
2G/900 Mhz

The original baseband settings from Motorola for my Moto E 2015 4G LTE (European Version) are: LTE band 1(2100), 3(1800), 7(2600), 20(800)
HSDPA 900 / 2100
Please tell me how to figure it out?

My CyanogenMod version is : 12.1-20151212-NIGHTLY-surnia.
Device Model : XT1527
Baseband version: M8916_200601.02.02.58.01R
Android 5.1.1
Build number : cm_srnuia-userdebug 5.1.1 LMY48Y F1aa425b0c test-keys.

Hey guys, we recently got an unlocked Moto E from Amazon as a shared device. When we received the SIM card, everything worked, but when switched to the secondary user a persistent notification displayed showing that there was no service. The owner can call and receive messages just fine. The secondary user doesn't mind not having access to service (they have an alternate device) but it interferes with a clean status bar and impedes functionality. In the user settings, the secondary user option to allow calling and texting is turned on. I have restarted multiple times. What should I do here?

Hi, I have a xt1526 surnia sprint variant, and i was wondering if it was at all possible to remove the sim lock on this model by flashing a different firmware and then maybe oem fastboot change carrier it in fastboot. What does that even do? I tried to ask this before, i did not get an answer, and everything i try to google ends up being for verizon. any help would be appreciated!

Hi guys, does Xposed work with this phone? Moto E 2015 Gen 2 LTE
It's on rooted stock LP 5.02 ROM.
TWRP and flashed kernel to get camera working.

Not sure how well it will work on stock rom - works just fine on CM13 though. I'm on an XT1526.
