Genisys theme for H818p V20c

There are two steps:
1. Open port: Due to from v20x (6.0), LG has closed port in download mode and we cannot send command as v10x (5.x). But we found a trick to open port: Using LG Up with v20x.kdz, start up firmware and quickly unplug cable when process reach 9% in PC and the COM no.X appears in download mode of your G4, it meant port is opened.
2. Using dd .... command to inject the system.img file as inject rooted image at LP.

Thank you for the reply
I tried your step, but always have "fail" message when i sned the last command, i dont know what make that fail, because i used the same step for rooting on LP with no problem.

nope. Marshmallow cant be root for H818p ATM. Only Lollipop

I really appreciate hard work for this mod as we are getting not much for dual sim model
It is awesome but app drawer is big miss:crying:
Hoping that next will be fully functional mod.

Great job! Thank you! Besides LG G5 interface in the theme remove unwanted programs from Google.
On the firmware 20c CIS (Russian) does not turn on bluetooth and is not supported exFat. It is possible to somehow fix it?

1. Upgrade to V20C first before go further - using LGUP.
2. Setup your device, google acc etc, OR later (it is better to factory resetting the device)
3. COPY the Genisys mod to ROOT of your internal storage
4. Turn off your device, go to download mode. (Press Vol Down and Plug to pc)
5. Open LGUP, install/upgrade to V20C again, but read carefully for step 6
6. Start the firmware updater like step 1, BUT when it reaches 9% and the "COM NO.x" appear in your device lcd, UNPLUG the cable.
7. re-plug the device to your computer, exit LGUP program. Can you see "COM NO.x" ? If YES, go to step 8, otherwise repeat step 4.
8. and then just do the root tutorial while your device's screen appearing the "COM No.x", it means the COM number for your device in your computer.

Thanks for the nice and clear instruction! I have V20c already and all my apps had been set up properly, if I'll be trying this one, will I need to REFURBISH or can I select UPDATE? Do I have to format my device after?

Because you already have V20c, it doesnt need to completely 100% upgrade process, like i said before. You just need to open the port COM number.

So the mod here is theme from G5 only? No other mod present? Is is just really the GUI that has been changed in the img file?

All of it, G5 look a like. SystemUI, statusbar etc. If im not mistaken. You may explore by yourself
