Worked. Finally root. Was hating locked boot loader. Now if we can just get rid of it so we can install more roms.

Ever since I rooted my phone using this method, I never ceased having issues. Screen rotation is messed up now. Camera isn't functioning at all. I think I'm going to unroot and factory reset and see if the issues go away.

That's weird. I haven't had any issues at all. Already flashed the galaxy s5 port :)

issues

I couldnt get this to work on my 4.4.2 n3 .. Kernel is Feb27, shouldnt it work? When I click make it rain, the screen doesnt change to the "you'll soon have root" or whatever message in the towelroot app, but the phone still reboots. Cant install superuser, etc, and apps requiring root cannot find it. Any suggestions?

I have no issues here.

Did you uninstall any Samsung apps using Titanium?

Did you resolve your problem when you unroot and did a factory reset?

yes, the problem was samsung apps. I removed so many of them and that's what's causing all the issues. I'm all good now. wish someone would post a list of the Samsung apps that are not safe to remove.

oh no dude. never delete anything ever again. especially the Samsung bloat. they're jerks enough to make it attached to a lot of system functions. if you delete any of their crap, you'd lose some of your phone's functions like I did. I'm only freezing stuff now. I'm all good bro. thanks for looking out.
