Hi,

So I hit my hot spot data cap. I'm on O with root. Any way to by pass limit? I'd like to keep it wifi. I have FoxFi but it's not wifi tethering. I edited my buildprop for net provisioning true but that just by passes the subscription check.

You can't; thankfully I'm still on my $10 gUDP without this cap!

Just had Verizon send me a message saying I'm over on tethered data with the provisioning line in build.prop. anybody else notice an issue?

edit the build.prop file with the following line:
net.tethering.noprovisioning=true

Then,

Use terminal emulator

Type in
settings put global tether_dun_required 0
Press Enter
Then reboot phone

Can also confirm this isn't working on Verizon. They just throttled my hotspot, which sucks bc it is my only internet source out in the boondocks.

So question: Any word on when the first custom rom will be out for the Pixel XL for Android Oreo? And if it will be awhile, whats the easiest way to return to Android 7.x.x ? I need the hotspot without them knowing.

Thanks!

Unfortunately, it's not the phone or ROM, it's Verizon.
