Getting mostly 3G these days.

Running ICS UNiPoRN, latest version.

Noticing that here in Chicago via AT&T that I'm showing 3G mostly. It will show an H but then quickly shift back to 3G. I was in Atlanta this weekend and the same thing happened.

I posted in the UNiPoRN thread but nobody responded.

Anyone having the same issue? Is there a setting in ICS that I have configured wrong?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I think Entropy posted that with ICS its stays in 3g until you actually use data then it goes to H and beack to 3g once done. My phone is the same ways stays in 3g then goes to h when i use data

Appears to be a common problem among certain roms. Or it could just be att's crappy network:angel:

I run Scotts JB ROM and many are having that 3g/H issue. Idk if it works but they explained how h could be achieved from 3g if you locked the screen and quickly unlocked it. Then it would stay on H. Not tried myself though..... just a thought
Do some speed tests because it could actually be on hspa but the icon just displays 3g
