Ghost Touch issue

hello

Guys if any methods don't work you can switch off the mobile and charge it fully,then you won't face this issue (I was facing this issue even mobile wasn't connected to charger)
I tried it like a week and it worked Great.

Try this one. install this rom. Then install this kernal. set hebf optimizer. Install root and busybox. install greenify apk.You need to configure the hebf optimizer settings. It really works.elemantalx-g4-1.11 and viper os rom

pic3 and kernel install settings frequency Stock set .If doing so again: settings, display, LiveDisplay, color calibration, red 59 , green 59, blue 61.

I had the ghost touch issue or very similar on my G4. It seemed like the fix of non-optimizing battery on System UI and Google Now worked for a week or 2, then it returned and got really bad. Sometimes you could recover for a short while by locking and unlocking the screen, but eventually that stopped working and only a hard reboot would fix it, and then only for a short while. I enabled Show Taps in Developer Options, and soon discovered that when the problem was active there was a continuous tap dot showing on the screen near the right edge 1/3 of the way up from bottom. The white dot kind of of vibrated a bit when it was acting up. Any app placed there would keep launching itself and the rest of the screen was unresponsive. I decided it must be a digitizer problem and replaced the display/digitizer assembly. Surprise!...all fixed now.

Same thing here. I use my phone at 50% or below brightness and when I plug in with the provided charger (the turbo one), I know I cannot use the phone.

I'm waiting for the next payday to get rid of it, the Moto G4 Plus is the worst phone I've ever had. Maybe my next pick will be a iPhone and I'll forget about flashing custom ROMs and stuff.

You won't be happy with an iPhone, trust me, I have an iPhone 6s and the lack of customization, usability, speed and the lot of apps is very annoying. There are android devices with much better stock roms and better update support(oneplus) to check out.

I also had this problem with ghost touch. Also had a problem with the battery expanding and rounding the bakc of the phone.
After replacing the battery, the ghost touch issue also has been resolved, maybe this is where the problem is being caused.

In your case, the problem happened when the brightness was above 50%? or was it only when he was carrying the cell phone?
Did you buy your battery online? If so, could you send the link?

At first it was only during charging and later on it happended randomly with brightness over 50%
After changing the battery however, the problem seems to have dissapeared.

Are you telling us the whole ghost touch issue is for... a faulty isolation / missing tape?

i'll try it for sure.

I have the same problem, the only thing that stopped it was deactivating adaptive brightness and keeping brightness low.
But if I had guarantee I would probably send it to costumers care

But how long it works? the problem become worse in time or work just fine in that condition? Is a long term solution? i didn't have money for another one :C

So is it hardware issue or software. Is wars to try custom rom or screen shouled be replaced? by the way this problem came after 1 year, so i think it is software issue
