Is it possible to port the Gingerbread MIUI over to the Aria? or even just the notification pulldown?
Do you know if someone has already ported it?CM7 is a Gingerbread Android OS based off AOSP.
However, MIUI... is MIUI; different ROMs. He's not asking for CM7.
As far as MIUI is concerned, you could try.
If they did, I would be on it. So no.Do you know if someone has already ported it?
those are all hdpi devices liberty is mdpi that is the problemIdk why i completely looked over the miui part lol... they ported it to the nexus one, the nexus s, the hd2, and the milestone, I don't see why it wouldn't be able to be ported to the aria either, it would be fantastic if it was![]()

I was just looking for that thread! I couldn't remember who it was and was wanting to ask them how they managed to get it booted. I guess a mod must have deleted "dead" threads because I was looking for the cm6 build with fm radio for the floyo hero port and couldn't find it either :/yeah porting is....yeah
from experience just need a compatible kernel
and then come the modules that are for that kernel, the hard partwhy i gave up on the espresso port
I just posted in that thread. I love the espresso rom btw. To the point where I don't even care about the bluetooth or wifi.I was just looking for that thread! If it was just some dragging and dropping or editing some text files I could probably handle it. Or possibly if I knew what a tmp boot.img was... or status 0... or status 7...![]()
You devs simply amaze me.
And since I'm already rambling.... has any one ever, or is it even possible to, build an aosp ROM from source for the liberty?
