Unlock the new music enhancements in Android 2.3.3!

When you upgrade to Android 2.3.3, also unlock the music enhancements immediately that come with this release! You can do so by installing the new MusicFX control panel from the Android Market (search for MusicFX).

It will enable the bass boost, equalizer, and 3D surround experience to the Android Music player! (and allow you to set it to your personal preferences)

Enjoy!

Tried it Rob,

It is only for headphones.

But, IMHO PowerAmp sounded a lot better. Paid App tough.

I have tried to manually update my rooted N1 to GB but no luck have tried this way http://jaxov.com/2010/10/fix-android-no-signature-verification-failed-error/

Yet i still get installation aborted :(

Help me please people .

Ronnie

You need to unroot your device by downgrading then upgrading

This is the guide I followed: http://forum.androidcentral.com/google-nexus-one/43398-how-prep-nexus-one-gingerbread.html

When you're done you need to be on FRG83D which will allow you to upgrade to Gingerbread.

Good luck.

Hi to everyone.. i've got a big real serious problem...

i've bought a n1 few week ago, and as i turned it on it downloaded the 2.2.1 FRG83D.. i waited for OTA in order to install android 2.3.3 but i have not recived it so i tried to install it manually..

i tried to install first the FRG83D->FRG83G firmware but it gives the following error

Code:
E:failed to verify whole-file signature
E: signature verification failed
Installation aborted

i tried the full firmware from FRG33->GRI40 but it gives the same error...

i checked and i've hboot > 0.35.$OTHER_NUMBER...

what can i do? T_T

How can one flash this coming from a custom rom / recovery? Is there a way to do this without connecting to a computer? I'm running amonRA 2.2.1 and CM7, locked bootloader, and would like the ability to wipe and flash to stock/official build without the need for a PC/adb.
