Glass Explorers forum

As I understand it, Glass Explorers are given access to a private Glass forum. I assume that this is where most current discussion of Glass is taking place.

This is a shame, as I'd like to be able to keep up with people's reactions to, and evolving use of, the devices, as well as development efforts.

That is correct, and you can't access it unless you use a Google account that is associated with the Glass registration.

I know that specific Googlers have said that they encourage Explorers to root their devices and to do with them as they wish, but I would still be a little nervous posting all of my efforts into Google's walled garden, where they could just decide tomorrow that they don't want certain sorts of information available and delete all of those threads.

I hope that people will experiment with Glass in public, where we can all follow along and (hopefully) get excited.

I rarely buy devices the day they are released; I prefer to watch and wait to see what others think of them, how quickly they get hacked, how open they are to tinkering, and what sorts of uses people find to put them. I'm not about to buy Glass based only on Google's marketing materials and a few reviews from mainstream news and blogs...
