Question Global ROM for Xiaomi Pad 5 (nabu)

Sweet, my tablet arrived today, so I will give this a shot tonight or tomorrow.

I am on the list to get my tablet unlocked. Must wait 156 hours.

You can flash the Global ROM now, it is available finally!

Do make sure:
1. You have completely unlocked your Xiaomi Pad 5, enter fastboot mode, connect to PC, run Unlock Tool to check, it should state "Unlocked" with your device ID.
2. Choose "Clear All" option in XiaoMi Flash Tool to make sure that you will have a brand new ROM on the Device.
3. There is an error at the end (something like your miss abc file...), that says your have successfully installed the Global ROM to your China Pad 5.

i dont get number 3, you get an error message that confirms you have succesfully flashed your china pad 5 to a global rom? and you have done this successfully with no problems with the tablet after converting?

couldnt wait for a reply so i decided to yolo it and got the same error after 2 tries, 1st error was about spuer sparse something and it just stayed in fastboot mode so i rebooted fastboot manually then flashed again and i got your error but this time it rebooted itselft and lo and behold im on global rom now

I still have about 60 hours left, however wanted to double check as I get closer.

I tried to extract the Flash Tool from the zip file and kept getting a "Try Again - Skip - Cancel" windows on a bunch of files. I checked that I had not extracted it before.

Dont know with that flashtool that was posted as i used the 202003 version, you sure you didnt extract twice? Just extract it to a different folder i guess

So I unlocked my tablet, but now when I run the Flash Tool it has a screen to install drivers, but gives me an error indicating a log folder is missing.

Did other run into this?

So i got the same error and the tablet rebooted. Is there something specific I need to do to Lock it? Or how do I confirm that it is locked?

I am freaking out here. I clicked on "clean all and lock" and then when i reboot the tablet, it goes into a screen that says "This rom is not meant for this device".

Frack, I hope i have not bricked this device...

I did the process again, but just did "Clean" and it works, however the tablet remains boot unlocked.

i think you can not lock back the tablet after you flashed it with global rom

Any one which devices using Pad 5 Global rom after use Second space feature, when login Google account into and have a problem "Couldn't sign in Google - There was a problem communicating with Google services", anyone get the same error?
I need your help, although I flashed again 2 times and tried update the lastest version but nothing changed. Couldn't sign in Google account on Second space.

So once you install global rom, you have to keep the bootloader unlocked?
