I need a new phone ASAP as my phone died, I am waiting for a month for the global version but nothing comes out.
I was wondering what are the differences between global version to the Chinese version flashed with a global rom.

Thanks!
Clear Answer: Global Version, i tried a lot of roms the last months.. Thats the best option in all points

Do not write stupid things if you do not know for sure. Identical hardware does not mean you can transfer CN version to Global. How do you think the global version is much more expensive than CN one? The problem is you can install Global Version of ROM to CN version but you DO NOT change Bands supported by both Versions.
Regards
you tell bullshit, for sure you can edit the Bands, with QPST, you need to calculate the Bands and can edit the Bands complete .... Please dont tell things you dont understand. Thanks

eeee hmm buddy are we talkin about Mi 11 Ultras here right ? ;)

Oh well, i make a mistake but it's the same, all Mi 11 had different band between region code (Global / CN) :

The Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra 5G Standard Edition Dual SIM TD-LTE CN 256GB M2102K1C (Xiaomi Star) supports 3 GSM bands, 7 UMTS bands, 20 LTE bands, 1 CDMA band, and 7 5G NR bands

The Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra 5G Global Dual SIM TD-LTE 256GB M2102K1G (Xiaomi Star) supports 3 GSM bands, 6 UMTS bands, 17 LTE bands, and 13 5G NR bands

It would cost them more time and hassle to produce multiple devices with different bands than make 1 device for the world and use software limitations

I have listed two market area variants on cacombos:

https://cacombos.com/device/M2102K1G (Global)
https://cacombos.com/device/M2102K1C (China)

To see different Carrier Aggregation, 4x4 MIMO bands and 5G EN_DC combinations. It's recommend buy own market device.

    Info about bands isn't true.
Both version of phone - CN and Global/European - are hardware equal / identical.

Can anyone confirm if Google Pay, Banking Apps and Pokémon GO will work with the Global ROM on CN phone from alibabab? (I am assuming no since the bootloader is most likely unlocked?)

There's no glitches whatsoever in the CH rom. The CH rom is more optimised anyway. You just need to fiddle around with some notification settings
You are totally right. Also the battery life will always be better on CH roms. The global versions just seem better for some people because users don't put the effort to understand MIUI settings. Global roms just leave some MIUI options at predefined values so that users don't have to tackle with them but battery takes a hit.
