I recently started using gltools to fake my cpu and gpu to certain apps. Tried to update MIUI from 11.0.5 but failed so I had to reformat. Now on MIUI Indian Global 11.0.6 and I can't install gltools.
I tried installing from the gltools app itself and it said something about the system partition being read only or some other thing preventing it from writing to it. Tried installing through TWRP but nothing changed, it still needs to install. Tried its Magisk module but still the same. Help would be much appreciated! ?
EDIT: So I just noticed something. The old GLTools (2.01 from XDA Labs) thought that I have too little /system space and that I will brick my device if I flashed it. But I still flashed it with no problems (and know that there is space left).
I also noticed that when flashing something, TWRP says something about mounting system, flash, then unmount system.
My theory is that the GLTools app doesn't know that it needs to mount /system first.
If anyone out there knows something about this, can you please tell me if this is correct and what I need to do to fix it?
