Gmail attachment problems

Anyone having a problem attaching pics using Gmail app? They never attach, regardless of how I try. Very irritating. I've had to download another email app just to send pics.

No. Mine's fine with the stock Gallery app. But try QuickPic and see if it helps.

I like QuickPic too --- I just like the way it works ---- and Photo Editor works easily for quickly resizing -- I found the attach take forever to load (maybe never load..... I gave up waiting) so I resize the photos,,,, works great.

I noticed the same thing and found that the Gmail app only attaches files that are stored in device storage. Every time I tried to attach a file stored on microsd the message goes through sans attachment.

Not sure if this is a bug or deliberate but it definitely makes the app less useful.

My issue was the opposite. I had a picture attached to an email (.jpg). And on the TF700 when I download or view it, it ends up blank. It works fine and displays fine on my SGS2. But not on the tablet. I tried deleting the saved file and re-downloading it from gmail many times and it was always a blank file with 0 KB.
