The touchscreen issues on my Sensation are getting pretty damn annoying, I'm going to exchange it today and see if the new unit is any better. However, is there any way I can backup my data and stuff like text messages and application data? I don't want to lose progress in my games or the various settings I have in my applications. I'd really like to be able to restore it somehow to my new Sensation.

I know you can do this with Titanium but we don't have root yet so I need another way to do this. Many people here have exchanged this phone already so how do you guys backup all your files/data?

It won't do app data, which is the only thing that sucks without root. Pretty much SOL. But you can backup your text, settings, call logs on the new one with MyBackUp, which gives you a 30day tiral.

that 30 day trial is just one 1 device though. I'm guessing for if you want to flash a new ROM. I made sure to inquire with the dev on that. If you backup with the trial it will not restore on a new device
