GMS installed. It definitely would not work without GMS.
Just suprising bc it worked fine on the Mate 30 pro

I installed using these same files, but by watching a different video. I'll give it a shot, maybe this guy does something slightly different.

Seems like a much better install process than others i've followed. I think the issue was uninstalling google account manager where the phone freezes - the method above does not do that.

My galaxy s3 Frontier works good with Huawei p40pro. Had to install wearable app from gplay, plugin to watch from gplay and thirt app Samsung accesory service. Thats all. And all works perfect.

Strava works for me with gms. Without wasnt trying.
YouTube vanced works good but you cant login into your account. Didnt know why.
To other netflix works perfect with full HD in version 4.16.1 build.
SOT on full LTE with gms is 7h. On WiFi easy to get 8-8.5h. Im really happy that i bought this Phone. Is really nice

If you install gms then you cant receive push notification from apps. Its because Gms are modded thats why you dont have errors with them. I think we need a bit time to get new metod with istalling gms to receive all notification without problem.
so you are telling me if i dont install gms then all my notification will work again? cause you know i like to have notification on reddit and xda and all the mention apps i mentioned above
Hmm no, notifications from apps like reddit and xda you have to have notifications. Push doesn't work with Google apps. Check settings>apps >start an apps>set on apps what you want to working in background

I'm getting all notifications with GMS installed. ONLY issue for me is that I cannot get my Play Store account transferred.

Are you sure you got notification in real time in Gmail and others app like it? I Got from Gmail once a day but not in real time when I get a new mail.
Likewise its not real time notifications. I think this is still an issue no matter what method you use at the moment

Just to be clear here, I can and do receive real time instant notifications for ALL apps that I use. That said, I don't use Gmail, I use Nine for my mail client but, everything I use alerts instantly and I get as many alerts a day as is required by the individual app .e.g. I might get 10 or more alerts from Nine per day.
The method I used differs from the others I have seen in that it focuses on removing the GSF ID and generating a new one in order to stop the nag messages from Google.
