Yes, you can install Goo and yes it will download the current version of TWRP but touch is still flaky. I changed to CWM until TWRP is adapted to the Note 8.What is the best way to install twrp on the phone? Can I use.Goo?

Thanks, dude. There are a few nascent roms and I wanted to try them. However after reading through their descriptions, I think I will wait! Good looking out guy.Is there a legitimate reason to have a recovery right now? With what is currently available to root users as far as roms and what not I just havent seen a reason to install one yet. Plus I tried TWRP a week or so ago using goomanager and it fails to install the script.

Thats what I'm thinking at the moment. I wish to root as the tools i like to use require it (FolderMount and SetCPU), but none of the Kernels or ROMS are mature enough for me to flash and while I'd like to support testing them, I will be using the device as my diary, calendar, organiser, sketchbook and note pad, and I dont want to jeopodise my ability to use it with an unstable build. Is there a legitimate reason to have a recovery right now?
