SGS3, expected global launch March-April 2012.
Rumored specs: Super AMOLED Plus HD (no pentile), dual-core 1.8Ghz Exynos proc, and the ICS version of TouchWiz is expected to be much lighter on the OEM skin customizations.

Has anyone seen John Connor?
well thats the intl sgs3...a vzw one might not be til summer

but it wouldnt surprise me if a tw version of the gnex of sgs2 lte hd variant shows up earlier

Even though none of my lines are under contract any longer, my decision for an upgrade will fall towards a phone where the most development is taking place. With that said, gnex or sgs3 might be in my sights down the road, but a decision won't happen until this summer or until my phone breaks..

Can anybody explain why anyone would consider leaving a Fascinate for a RAZR? How is going to a phone with a locked bootloader, crappy Moto Blur software and a non-removable battery an upgrade?

it's a very obvious upgrade with hardware. not everybody is into all the modding and stuff like us; a stock or lightly modified fascinate would be crushed in comparison to a stock razr.

That's another consideration. Quality and quantity development for my choice

samsung has gone native ext4 for its sgs2 phones and im sure will stay the same going forward

performance wise, the sgs2 is still probably the best phone available (oem skin and os version aside)

i personally look forward the the first lte ics tw device to grace verizon and assuming a sense ics lte device doesnt drop first...then thats what i imagine myself getting in q1 or q2 (or whenever either drops)

til then ill stick with my inc2 and fascinate...i enjoy aosp on occasion but long term would be bored with just that
When you say native ext 4 does it also mean mtd ?

I'll give you that one. The fascinate is a great looking phone and the only camera better than the TW camera is the one from the gnex.
But when it comes to phone performance TW leaves a lot to he desired.
I have the chance of getting an inc2 next week for a great price. I was playing with it yesterday and even bloated stock it puts our phone to shame.

Can you expand on that a bit? My brother has that phone, I put CM7 on it and it's a great phone, but I wouldn't go so far as to say it puts the fascinate to shame.

Got a galnex for $200 on launch day and not one issue to report (contrary to what you may read). The fascinate was a 15 month love and hate relationship. I'm very very very pleased with the galnex and glad I pulled the trigger.

good day.
Hope you keep checking in with your awesome posts

Seems to be a lot of hating going on for the galaxy nexus but I can assure that this is quite possibly the best experience I have ever had with a cellphone the fascinate cannot hold a torch to this phone.. I don't think I could ever go back even with ics port. The response time speed, data speeds (double my fassy in same spot) the screen pentile or no is amazing, and overall fluidity is something I've never experienced. Couldn't be happier to finally rock Googles flagship device.

Only major gripe is the low speaker volume and no voodoo sound :( (for now anyway)

You won't hear any hating from me ;) Once I get it, though, I'll still probably keep my Fascinate, though... It still runs well on jt1134 and Team Hacksung's ICS build 2

Has anyone seen John Connor?
