I highly doubt this will happen. But who knows, I would love to be wrong.i hope that our phone will even get ICS. Many phone will not but lets pray to god our phone gets put on the nice list this christmas. Even though many of you already know that ICS run perfectly fine on our phones its wether or not samsung is will to push another update.
I wouldn't rule it out completely. But of course it would have TW on topI highly doubt this will happen. But who knows, I would love to be wrong.
I bet all those devices listed have 512mb+ of ram (didn't check specs of each). But unless the update includes a hardware mod to give it the missing 128mb that ics needs then the first gen galaxy s phones will never see an "official" ics update.well it might be a while but here some info that might say we are: http://global.samsungtomorrow.com/?p=8894
Is your gnex rooted, deodexed and cleaned up yet ?I bet all those devices listed have 512mb+ of ram (didn't check specs of each). But unless the update includes a hardware mod to give it the missing 128mb that ics needs then the first gen galaxy s phones will never see an "official" ics update.
good day.
That's a good point as well. I'll be trying the "unofficial" ICS soon most likely, to give my Fascinate extended life through the spring hopefully.I bet all those devices listed have 512mb+ of ram (didn't check specs of each). iirc the agreement was for 18 months post launch...buttechnically Samsung is required to keep our phones updated through the pact they and the other major carriers had with google but I don't think it was legally binding.

Perhaps our favorite Uberdev will port SGS2 TouchWiz ICS to the Fascinateiirc the agreement was for 18 months post launch...but
-i dont know if it included phones already launched prior to it
-if the fascinate would qualify as a reg sgs1 phone which launched in may/june of 2010, not the sept 2010 date on verizon (as its just a variant)
either way tw ics wont ever happen on this phone unless something wacky happens at samsung and they decided to invest the money in it
Lucky bastard. My brother is getting his today as well and he's giving me his dinc 2 until my February upgrade day.Perhaps our favorite Uberdev will port SGS2 TouchWiz ICS to the Fascinate
Phones launched prior to that agreement were not included from what I read about it when it first happened.

I got my own G-Nex today, finally... I can't really say goodbye though because I'm still keeping my Fascinate...
Has anyone seen John Connor?
i think you will like the inc2, imo its comparable performance wise to the fascinateLucky bastard. My brother is getting his today as well and he's giving me his dinc 2 until my February upgrade day.

I've checked them out already. Nitsuj you are insane! You're responsible for 15/30th of all vivow roms.i think you will like the inc2, imo its comparable performance wise to the fascinate
stock its miles better than the fascinate, but when comparing rooted rom/kernel vs rom/kernel its more even
and we have about 6 or 7 tsm roms on the inc2![]()
