I have been using SonyEricsson WM600 since HD2. Great bass and connect 3 devices! comes with FM. Charges with microUSB too.

I got myself a pair of Siege Audio's Stealth and they work perfectly. There's only one button and the packaging says it's good for iPhone and Android.
I've got 1 click - Answer phone/Hang up/Play & Pause Music.
2 clicks - Next track
3 clicks - Prev track
Hold button down - changeable with below app but mine shifts music albums forward one.

Mainly got them because I've lost count of the number of headphones I've had ripped out of my ears on the underground trains and they're great for when running, they never fall out.

@petermarlin -- I only had partial use out of them to start with but there's an app called Headset Button Controller which is a god send! Changed it to work perfectly.

i use the jabra bt3030, just add your own ear cans/buds 3.5mm type
This is my first choice.

The standard headphones that came with my DHD are OK (they have all the controls I want apart from volume and they aren't in ear).

The BT3030 seems like just what I need: I can plug my in ear headphone in them and I can control volume.

Someone posted the Sennheiser MM 70i

Also look great, so now I dunno which to get :(

I got the razer ones, but my brother has the same phone with skullcandy with mic support and I personally like the sound better from the skullcandy, but the razer one fits in the ear better.

Already done it works a treat, bit fiddly but the results are well worth it, can now use any headphones and still retain the full function keys.

Currently use my Sennheiser's MP50 out and about & my Sennheiser HD580's around the house.

Even better with the volume boost app.

Sent from my Desire HD using XDA App
