It's pretty quick, but to be honest I usually charge at night so I don't pay attention

Normally, cables are cables, and they all wear out, are similar quality. But the USB-C from "snowkids" appears better than usual quality. Using for one month with XZ and quick charge, no problems. i have an OEM Sony Quick charge 3, and i'm using OEM Sony usb type C that comes with XZ... but the charging time is so long!

anyone have any idea why?

well, since quick charge 3.0 pumps more voltage instead of increasing amperage, ANY cable should do the trick, as long as its not some cheap ass cable you happened to get at a flea market.
