He should've just gone with the Galaxy S III . The Galaxy Nexus has atrocious battery life, no matter what kernel/rom combo you throw on it, you'll always finding yourself meticulously eyeing your battery. JB on the Galaxy S III is fully functional, and battery life is great. Overall, much better than any HTC variant out there. BTW my N1 died years ago, just wanted to take this final sentence to remember it lol

All my last modern android phones I had (including N1), had 15~20h with medium use (with my apps, and taking care of wakelocks). My GN actually have the same battery life than N1 (the same 15~20h). I have a friend with Galaxy S3 using JB and they've almost the same battery life, but in other hand, he doesnt have half of my apps and doesnt use sync.

@MENELKIR: is the battery life of gnex worse as the other guy mentioned. my frnd is thinking of gettin a gnex. so wanted to make sure the battery aspect.

hmmm.so it means battery life is quite average. my frnd is eyeing for gnex i9250. he will stay pure stock. so jus wanted to knw abt the battery issue before he buys? is there anyother cons?

And invest money in a device thats in my closet? :silly: BTW, for €5 i just bought a samsung wave...
