1. Reboot to the recovery
2.Choose the downloaded file
3.Flash it and enjoy.

yes, it just flash your splash, and will not be removed even you flash another rom and wipe all the data.

Oh you can a fastboot package and unpack it. Find a file called ''splash.img'' that's it.

You need to flash it to splash through fastboot using PC
