Hi! I'm looking for the Google Camera for my Moto G8 Plus, someone can help me? Thanks!!!
Hi, i´ve been doing some research and i found a v6.2 and v7.009. I tried both on my Moto G8 plus and v6.2 was more stable and fast but it may because I have the default configuration. If you want you can play with the parameters and tell us the results

So far I've found the best version is the GCam APK 7.0.009 parrot043 build version PopugVersion_V11_1. Anyone else had luck with newer versions of 7.3?

I recently purchased a Moto G8 Plus and grabbed the GCam APK from here: https://www.cyanogenmods.org/moto-g8-plus-gcam-7-0/
It is v7.3 by Parrot043, it installed & works great and is noticeably better then the Motorola camera app even by my untrained eye.
However I was wondering, are there any settings I should tweak? I have found posts online for other phones with lists of changes or XML files to load. Thanks in advance for anyone in the know!

Hi I have just bought a motorola g8 plus, great phone. I have tested a working gcam, all good except I cannot use the ultrawide camera.
Is there any xml setting I have to change to use it?
Is there any developer that want to try to make a fully working gcam version?
Many developers are on redmi or xiaomi, I see none on motorola, why?

I installed GCam v7.3 by parrot43, and it's work fine for the most part. Low light shots are hugely improved, and daytime shots show increased dynamic range. All of which makes the G8 Plus a pretty decent performer for its price.
Only quirk is that Night Sight mode rotates the image when shooting pics in landscape. Not sure if that's a real flaw, or if a setting that can be changed in the config.
It's not a huge deal, but I'd appreciate it if anyone can offer some insight here.

Sounds good to give it a try, where can I find it? Is there a specific version you could recommend?
What's the diffrence with this and Gcam? The Pixel is a google phone right, so supposing it has much similarities?
I've tried the GCam v7.3 by parrot43, and tested it against the stock app.
The Gcam gives much better quality in bright and low light conditions. Sharper and less noise.
But it gives verry terrible results with panorama photos. Could not find anny settings for it so far. But the stock app gives much better results here. How's this Pixelcam performing here?
I can't seem te find an option to save images on the SD-card with Gcam (rooted G8 plus). How's this on the Pixelcam?
