It's stable and perfect, but Nigh Mode will crash

try different settings inside option, Night Mode will work, but it's heavy and unstable

no, only oreo rom, you should try AtomicOs 2.5 it's very very stable and with this google cam you can forget lg firmware

For pictures in SD card you can assign SD card as system memory and not as a "storage" (when you install an Oreo rom, the system will ask you about that and app etc.. will be stored in SD card = even picture taken by google cam), i don't know another way to store pictures in SD card sorry

The NoHex_MGC_6.1.021_MI8_V2a+.apk is pretty perfect for G4 and oreo rom (i'm using Atomic Os 2.5) everything work
In settings: buffer fix ON, Image format on Yuv_420_888, viewfinder processing motion and ae ON,

No lag, you can shot many and many photos in hdr+ without buffer problem (and crash), Night mode works, 60fps mod for video

Just take a look, maybe you can do a better optimization job for our G4

Based on GC3.2.045 (Kenzo + MiMax1).

Settings:
- Model = Nexus 6P (Front) & Nexus 6 (Rear).
- Change the setting before switching between front and rear cam >don't take a picture after that, press the power/lock button (this will force close stop the app) > reopen the app and it's ready.

Tips:
- Set the app as a shortcut on the lockscreen for faster switching.
- Correction HDR+ = G.Exposure*6 (1/4s) or Min.ISO (outdoor).

I'm very grateful to see someone trying to do something for our device. Is it possible to capture 4k videos on gcam ? G4Camera_2019.apk there is no 4k option in this one.

Use hedge camera on playstore. That one is free, manual video, 4:3 3K selfie video support, raw flat log format just like LG v30
GCam video recording isn't really that good,

I have LG G4, Nougat v29

Normal GCam uses multiframe ev -1 processing (100%). Night mode uses multiple ev 0 (0%). You can just change the multiplier underexposure setting to 0-25% to get similar results like night sight. And also for normal mode, use 75-80% setting. This works better on g4
