Milky pictures

Hi there,
I tried serveral mods that were suggested in this forum, but not matter what setting I use I alway get these "milky" pictures. Does anyone know whats wrong with my system/configuration (or with me :()?
I'm using the latest aoscp pie build (H815)...
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I really would be happy to take some outdoor pictures...

It might sound very stupid to read what i will write you now ..... but ..... i had the same problem a lots of time ago and i suggest you to apply a very small blob of a cream cleaner for bathroom (someone use even toothpaste) on the rear camera lens and use a cotton bud to coat the entire lens (or just a cotton), then use a microfiber cloth dipped in water to remove the cream (or toothpast).

If you now take a closer look, you should find that opaque on rear camera glass vanished.

The most important thing to remember here is that you should be gentle when applying and removing the cream (or toothpaste), but apply some force around the corner of the lens (just to see if it works properly) and a lots of patience

I used Cif (it's a cream cleaner for bathroom) (HERE the datasheet) i don't know how you call in you country, it's like a cream with granules

hi, what is the latest best app for oreo 8.1?
This one i remember it works for sure
GoogleCamera-Pixel2Mod-Arnova8G2-V7.9.9 HERE

These one i don't have solid memories if they work in oreo 8.1 (i think yes, but you should try everytime deleting single gcam app cache etc..)

MGC_6.1.021_MI8_V2e HERE

MGC_6.1.021_RazerPhone2_V2a HERE

or try read a lots of pages ago in this thread

ps: i suggest you to install the latest LineageOS 16 Pie and the Gcam F1v9.5_6.2.030, watch my signature here, i'm really satisfied with it, it is really really better than Oreo, you should try

i install the 9.4 but this version crash e.g. in night mode.
Could you suggestion another version more stable?

Our device (LG G4) does not support night mode, so I will crash no matter which camera app or version you are using

Thank's for your suggestions, I tried that, but without effect... BUT you were perfectly right by locating the lens as source of error!
I removed the lens and ..... I got really GREAT pictures, better than ever!!! Now I'm going to buy a new glas lens via ebay (be sure to buy GLAS, no plastics!) and the problem will be gone.
If anyone experiences the same problem, try it, hope it helps! :good:
